What a great show, Dennis was in fine form and the rest of the band was awesome.

The setlist:
Rockin The Paradise
Lady
Lorelei
Blue Collar Man
Don't Let It End
Desert Moon (the only non Styx song, Dennis pointed out)
Too Much Time On My Hands
Mr Roboto
Babe
The Grand Illusion
Fooling Yourself
Prelude12/Sweet Madame Blue
The Best Of Times/AD 1958/And In The End (? Beatles song)
Renegade
Come Sail Away

Was great meeting StyxfanNH and his wife and was really nice seeing Suite and her friend Brenda (who I first met at Dennis' show at the Taste Of Chicago) again, after our meal of pizza we headed over to the venue. My boyfriend and I actually got briefly lost, and then when we got to the venue we had to wait about a half hour because there was a pre-party going on which Suite and StyxfanNH got to go to (they said we didn't miss anything). Before we went in I got to meet GI Jim and his three daughters (and I must say he does NOT look like he's old enough to have a kid in college). The opening act was pretty good, a band called The Mojo Daddies. Like I said before, Dennis was in great form and good spirits, he was constantly joking and playing off the crowd. His language was a little salty, but he was so friggin hilarious (I think he needs to retire a few of his jokes, like the one about his pants being up to his chest). Another beef of mine was the jam after Desert Moon, about 5 minutes of it was great but after that it was like elevator music. Oh and before i forget, he held the note during Suite Madame Blue for about 23 or 24 seconds. After the concert, most of us (my boyfriend and Suite's friend Brenda hung out in the lobby) stayed after and talked to Jimmy Leahey, Craig Carter and August Zadra (Suite talked to Suzanne for a few minutes too). We didn't see Froy (WHERE THE HECK WERE YOU?) and Lt Vanish, although I think he passed me by when going to his seat (I was the one with long hair and a burgundy Bohemian top, I was standing with a bald headed guy with a Cubs shirt on). All in all it was a great time had by all and I hope I can get to another oner of his shows again soon 8)

I wish

All around fantastic show

No need tor TMTOMH I would rather have seen Boat on The River and Goodbye to Roseland.
Dennis now has 3 shows under his belt Symphony Acoustic and Full band,
We had a blast looking forward to April 2nd,

No need for extended versions of songs when you leave too 3 singles and stellar rock tracks and strong solo tunes on the bench.

No this was strictly a "Greatest Hit's" show.

We're hoping that he'll be doing a few "Lost Treasures" shows again. Those shows are usually one-of-a-kind type show.

Robin & Styxfan NH it was GREAT to see you both again. It was a blast at dinner and after the concert.

Another GREAT concert last night! Besides all the songs I enjoyed the various intros into a few. I also enjoyed his storytelling about the songs.

Nice talking to you again Froy! Sorry I didn't get a chance to meet everyone else, I didn't realize that you wanted to meet so early for the preshow pizza. After the show was over I got the hell out of there. I would like to note that the woman I was sitting next to was one of the most annoying people I have ever seen at a show, she was talking, holleriing, clapping loud, guess she didn't get the memo that this was an unplugged show. It kinda ruined it for me, and I missed a lot of Dennis' remarks because she was so obnoxious. The people in front of her were shaking their heads all night, seriously it was really bad.

Kinda wish Dennis would of kept playing Southbound Ryan, seemed like he actually wished he would of added that one in the set list, the band had no idea what to do. It would of been a pleasant suprise.

Great I got the ticket from her I wish I would have known there was an empty seat next to us. Also Man of Miracles would have been cool. I figured it was a better seat so I got it for you, sorry about that

Not your fault, luck of the draw, there is always someone at every show like this, you just hope you arent sitting anywhere by them. I ended up getting up and standing by the exit door for the last 5 songs, turned out to be even better view of the stage.

Sorry that you couldn't make it to dinner. Luckily we did eat early enough because it took a while for the pizza. Bummer to hear what you had to sit by, that wrecks the whole show. There was a seat open for the show in front of us, I wish I would've known.

Also too bad you didn't stay after, we were looking for you and would've like to meet you :)

I agree, we all wished he kept playing Southbound Ryan, that would've been a treat!

Dennis has just about the coolest band out there. Tom Sharpe was great to meet and we still chat on facebook from time to time. Sounds like the other guys are the same way (August posted on my wall a few times :D )

Last time I checked. SMTW was tied as his second biggest charting single ever. It is a shame (and rather stupid on his part) that he omits it quite frequently.

And it's rather stupid on Styx' part to omit a good majority of their most popular songs just because it's written by a band member that's no longer in the band and it may not be their personal favorite. But it also could be because the person that replaced said band member can't perform them well enough.
