I would go see Night Ranger if they were headlining. Their last album "Hole in the Sun" was very good. And they still have both of their real singers.

But not the original keys and second guitarist. Hardly any band is original out there now...but I'm still thankful these guys are rocking away.

Journey Foreigner ...not Styx?!?

Are you kidding Styx is the worst of the 3. Thanks to Gowan

Yeah, it's ALL his fault, eh? LOL

It would be great if Styx were on the bill. Night Ranger and Styx would be a good show. Maybe Styx has other plans that we just don't know about.

Looks Like STYX got burned on this one, Night Ranger over STYX say's it all. Nobody is buying there sorry ass act anymore and they know it.

Or, Schon will not tour with them since many peolpe felt Styx out performed Journey on the Main Event tour.

It's Styx/Foreigner/Journey in the UK, so that's not the issue at all.

Odd that someone forgot that fact. It was a pretty big announcement for us in the Styxworld.

Could be, like sitting in their home studios making re-records of their back catalog that nobody really cares to have. Not mention screwing with the integrity of some of those songs.

Boomchild, you mean wasting their time like groups like this?

Foreigner and Journey will hit the road this summer on a national tour. The tour starts in Salt Lake City, Utah on July 21st and tickets go on sale beginning Friday, March 11 at all the usual online, phone and physical retail outlets, including select Walmart Ticketmaster locations across the country.

Foreigner’s Mick Jones says, “This will be one of the main events of the summer. Bands who represent the magic era in Classic Rock together for the first time in ten years. Get ready to rock!” Journey’s Neal Schon adds: “We haven’t toured with Foreigner for over 10 years, so we’re really looking forward to this run.”

Foreigner will release a new 3-disc package prior to the tour that will include new digital studio recordings of the greatest hits, featuring the current line-up of the band – Mick Jones, lead guitar, Kelly Hansen, lead vocals, percussion, Jeff Pilson, bass guitar, Tom Gimbel, guitar, saxophone, flute, Michael Bluestein, keyboards and Mark Schulman, drums – some new songs, a unique live CD and a video of a very special live performance that will be featured in a Public Television national broadcast in the summer. More details of these exciting events will follow.

Can someone tell me why Styx would tour Foreigner, the band they toured with last year?

Styx is doing the England dates because they haven't played with that combination of bands there.

Styx may play with bands they have played with before but not two years in a row.

Not to mention that the summer tour for Styx is with YES. It's just not announced yet.

They never toured twice in a row with REO?

The days of Styx outperforming Journey on any tour are long over. Arnel could even bring Styx closer to their classic sound than Gowan can with his poor man's Rush act.

Don't think someone. Someone here posted Arnel singing a Dennis song and I thought he completely sucked.

And, Styx didn't go for Gowan simply because he was in Youtube videos singing their songs, as Neal did with Arnel.

They've toured with Kansas multiple times, but I don't think "in a row". They toured with them on the 1996 tour.
