I'm not a Country or Bluegrass fan, but MAN I do have to say he definitely has the voice for it. Sounds great :D

Of course nothing like the Ten questions to get him started (I think the only one I got right was the Farmer's almanac). I'd say next to Steve Perry, Tommy is a KLOS favorite when it comes to AOR artists.

This is outstanding. The best stuff that I have heard from Tommy Shaw in a long, long time. I can't wait until this album comes out. Great job, Tommy.

I agree I am not a fan of Bluegrass music but I've listened each day and love pretty much each song some more than others. This is definately one of Tommys best solo efforts I just wish is sells well and he does a tour.

my copy arrived today. popped it in the car to listen to it while taking the kids to their after school activities. prob not the best way to hear a new cd since my son chattered through the entire thing. it will take me a while to wrap my head around the whole bluegrass sound (not a huge fan- i miss the bass! LOL), but from what i've heard so far, i've enjoyed. tommy's voice sounds great, and the lyrics seem very introspective and real. the guitar playing sounds great, as does the mandolin. gonna give it a better listen tomorrow when i don't have kids in the car!
btw, some nice vids are posted on youtube/tommy's facebook page.

Tommy sounds great on the album, vocals are top notch. His voice really fits well with the music. Tommy is credited in the liner notes on vocals and guitars mostly and sometimes resonator guitar or dobro... which are basically one in the same. Some guest musicians, but the core band is tight. I hope this gets listened to.

Tommy was on The Bob & Tom radio show this morning. He talked about his new album.

He would only respond to questions if he was addressed to as Jonathan Chance. Go figure???
