Can't deny the voice though. Great pipes. I have this album. I don't remember this track...
As long as we can go to the zoo, I can take this horrendous breakup....

I guess this was a song that was dropped from his 10 on Broadway release?

While I never was a big fan of Broadway stuff, Dennis did some great vocals on 10 on Broadway. I remember when this album came out and threw a curve ball to some of my friends who were expecting something else.

I think this, along with "Pinball Wizard", were rough-cut recordings that leaked out. Neither made the "10 On Broadway" album. Neither song's iteration heard here and there was a full production quality recording, from my understanding.

While there are some choices on "10 On" I wasn't crazy about, I generally liked the album and there were some incredible standouts on it, like "Bring Him Home" "Pilate's Dream" and the songs from "Chess."

His vocals were as good as I have ever heard him, though, and I see why Danny Goldberg wanted him to record this type of album.

Congratulations! You're still the same.

I remember him doing "Once Upon a Dream" on tv (Regis and Kelly maybe?), it was very beautiful :D

Agreed, it was unexpected, but it was a very good record. I think I played it the most out of his solo albums except I played a few cuts of "BoomChild" to death (harry's hands, boomchild). His voice was great on the Broadway album.

The production was also great on that album.

I never understood why this song was left of the album, very good version of the song.

I still think Michael Crawford did this song the best.
