Do You Think...

... that if Styx called it quits that maybe down the road a little bit Tommy and Dennis would do something together? This may have been touched on before, but honestly I've never contemplated the notion before a couple of days ago. With JY, the band and the whole Styx name drama out of the picture I see that as a possibility. I don't recall those two saying bad things about each other recently if at all. A collaborative effort between that pair I think would be interesting. They would have the freedom to not have to stick to any pre-ordained format or genre because it wouldn't be under the Styx name... just DeYoung/Shaw. They could experiment a bit, go outside the lines... do whatever. Then maybe a theater tour where they obviously perform from their new album and of course some of the finer Styx classics. It might seem weird, but it seems possible. Oh well, just a thought.

You never know but, in my opinion I don't think so. Both have not made negative comments about each other. I've never heard Dennis publicly make negative comments about any of his former band mates. However, I think that this just shows that Dennis and Tommy have respect for each other as artists\musicians. How they feel about each others personalities and working together is another.

Definitely would be cool.

I, for one, still think this is possible. But the older everyone gets, the less likely it becomes. They'd better get a move on, LOL, if they intend to do anything like this. Who wants a reunion between them when they're in their 70s?

That said, it's pretty unlikely and getting more unlikely every day. The window is closing fast. Past a certain point, who's going to care anymore?
