What did Styx play?

They just kicked off the European tour with Journey and Foreigner; what did they play during their 45 minute set?

I think they shot a brand new video and screwed up Toph's list of "let's troll for replies to my hatred of this video today". Damn, he's going to have to renumber and start all over again.

Does it really matter at this point 12 years non stop killing the brand. The fact that they played for only 45 min is enough to show they are done

The fact that they agreed to play for only 45 min is ridiculous. Why bother? Foreigner should play the least. They may have been huge at one time, but they have only one original member... Mick Jones. And beside one member (Thom Gimbel) that has been there 18 years, the rest haven't been in the band for more than 7. I realize Tommy isn't an "original member", but we kinda all consider him one. So at least Styx has 3, two who sing and another that plays sometimes (Chuck). Not to mention that Todd has been there 16 and he's only there because an original member died. I just can't believe in order to tour Europe a little they agreed to be the opening band for the likes of Foreigner and Journey. Journey has a singer they found on youtube for crying out loud. They have 2 original members and I guess you could consider Cain one as well... so give em' three. The whole thing is stupid.

Foreigner was huge, and their replacement lead singer sounds very similar to, if not better than, Lou Gramm. Styx does not have that. This is why Styx is opening. Also, Foreigner is much bigger overseas than Styx is. Foreigner often open for Styx here in America, but that would just be absurd anywhere else. Foreigner was able to sell big at five headlining dates in India! Let alone Europe.

Journey is just infinitely bigger and more well-versed than either Styx or Foreigner. There's no way they could open for the likes of Foreigner or Styx. Foreigner opened for Steve Augeri-fronted Journey when they had Lou Gramm!

I think using CP as an example of a active band member is a stretch. He only shows up here and there and plays like two songs.

Nope. Painful as it is for you Everett, Journey is the bigger deal here in the US. Throw REO in there. They'd get 7 1/2 minutes.

What is good about these gigs is that Styx only performing like 4 songs, so if Chuck plays for three of em it's like you have almost the entire orginal band minus DDY for the ENTIRE Styx concert.
