It's the Mick Jones band singing Foreigner songs. I don't care how great they are. I doubt they're as great as Foreigner with Lou Gramm in the 70's and early 80's. One original member... a guitarist, lame. Founder or not... it's silly. At least with Styx you get 50% of the songs you know and love sung by the original singer/songwriter in Tommy Shaw. Not to mention if you happen to like Miss America or Snowblind you get to hear originals on those as well. Now I do admit hearing some of the DDY penned songs performed by someone else is rough, but that's all you get from the 2 others bands on the bill... a replacement singing the songs you love. I'll give Journey a pass due to it being their tour and because Neal Schon is excellent, but not with Foreigner. They should be opening. If Lou Gramm were singing, that turns them into the headliner. Their first four albums sold 5 million copies or more a piece with their fifth going triple platinum and the sixth single platinum. Their 1982 greatest hits package "Records" sold 7 million and two other hits collections have sold 2 million and one million respectively. That's impressive, but it's not the same band. Styx better be getting paid a lot to look ridiculous.
Foreigner plays all their hits in concert. Styx conveniently ignores over half their Greatest Hits album out of a pathetic squabble....
So you are hearing many more hits with Foreigner than Styx....If Styx gets more than 45 minutes, they can't fill that space with recognizable songs....you won't get BOT, Babe, DLIE, Roboto, SMB, SMTW.....etc. etc.
