lol, no bother. to be honest, that was my first ever STYX concert and they were supporting Journey and only done about 10 songs. i hope they come back and do their own tour soon. i would love to see DDY with STYX again, im a big fan of him, and i do believe he wrote the best songs....however, LG and the rest of the band were great and id go see them again in a heartbeat with or without DDY. as far as i know he only plays in the states these days so unless i go there i aint gonna see him

That is correct I can't stand that Tommy Shaw ripped off the name Styx and has burned the name to the ground. Its unfortunate that there are sheep in this world that allow this travisty to happen. That's exactly what Shaw and Young said no problem as long as we have the name we can fool them and pretend it is still STYX
They both sold out to greed very weak hands but that is life. Gowan was in the gutter he saw an op to run in and make cash so he said what the hell I need that cash as he sits there and Alvin The Chipmonks each Dennis tune, the guy has done 0 for the band but thats ok the sheep keep paying to see this act. And buy the way Everete the Champagne show the tickets sold were about 1100 out of a possible 6000 so no its was not sold out to the rafters 5000 people caught on to the scam and said NO TO STYX The more people stay home the better chance Gowan will be sent packing. Which is about 10 years overdue.

You know me: sucker for a good rant. But I'll settle for one of yours. ;-)

Can't complain. Keeping busy, working in a great cover band (that plays a lot of Beatles too) and working 8-10 days a month, kids are getting big. Life is good.

You?

About to get a position with Smokefree Innotec the worlds first vaporless and smokefree Ecig. They are going after the US market now that the FDA has approved their product, Saw Paul in Vegas show was awesome. Last time I was at the MGM was for STYX RTTP Tour that show was sold out, Now they would not even sell 500 tickets at that arena. What a shame.

Froy and Zan. Together again! 'Tis a beautiful thing, indeed. :-)

Congrats, Zan, on the band gig and the bonus that you get to use your terrific voice on some classic Beatles songs. Sounds really nice!

McCartney's still got the chops. And he was just the cutest thing back in the day, wasn't he?

Congrats on the new cigarette gig. Let me know how it goes.

I am really loving working with them. 3 and 4 part harmony is never a bad thing, and we all have similar musical tastes, so it isn't a pissing contest choosing new material to play. (usually. lol)

So, JY is completely innocent and shares no responsibility? You do know that it's JY that keeps DDY out of Styx. As far as Tommy goes, someone has to lead the band... JY is no leader, he is a follower. We all know that. You can't in good sense put it all on Tommy.

i prefer STYX with DDY but i can live with them the way they are just now. as much as i adore the Panozzo brothers, theres no mistaking that Todd and Ricky are far superior musicians! as for Lawrence, well, i enjoyed watching him play and sing, its just that DDY does it better AND he wrote those songs :D

What place ever uses only half of an arena for a concert? And even if they did only use half of the arena, that's 3,000 seats and they sold 1,100. No where near sold out. Filled to about 30%. But, I'm sure that they used ~75% of the arena just like any other arena does, which means that there were 4,500 seats available and only 1,100 tickets were sold. Pathetic. How is that crammed up to the rafters?
