These type of threads always get derailed, which is sad! No wonder hardly anyone posts here anymore, too much bashing.

Nobody posts here anymore because there is nothing to post about. STYX has been doing nothing for 12 years and so everyone follows along and posts nothing with them.

Fred, if there is not anything to post about?????????? Then why do you post and bash the band that is the new Styx????????????? There are alot of people that like them both.

We all know how Fred keeps going on about it.I liked Styx with all the members but that was then & this is now.You can go see DDY & his band or go see Styx.I love the way they are now.JMO

As long as Dennis is out of Styx you will not see them get a real record deal. The industry knows what he brought to the table for Styx. On Dennis' last record deal (OYFN) the label approached him as opposed to Dennis shopping around. That should tell you something. Can someone please tell me the last time a label approached the new Styx line up with a deal?

I am willing to bet you will never see one. The chances of that happening are as much as Dennis rejoining the band. That would be slim to none.

yup, i posted about how i met Todd and briefly said hi to Chuck and the topic went askew,lol. only thing i agree with is that Styx did make awesum records with DDY and hopefully they will do another one eventually, but until then, we can listen to the early albums and be happy
