I guess if you wanted to get technical you could say they're running a "buy 1 get 1 free" for the $80 seats, and "buy 1 get 2 free" for the cheap seats.

Isn't it nice in this day and age where mega stars like Roger Waters,U2 and Dennis DeYoung who all have written an #1 song
and don't give Joe Public a break at the box office,we have band like Styx and Yes giving every body a chance to afford going
to a rock show.Thank you Styx and Yes.Good on you.
Jesus loves you ,but everybody else thinks you're a knob.

I love how the three Styx songs that they mention are dennis songs

They are called "we're the best version of Styx ever" without the numbers to prove it.

Seriously dude?!?!? There is plenty to criticize the current version of the band, but you seem to go out of the way to find fringe stuff and then completely lie in the topic title. This is common in the industry. I also got field level tickets to the Cubs/White Sox game last Friday's SOLD OUT game at Wrigley for under $50 bucks direct from MLB.com, does this mean the Cubs are a bomb in attendance?

For someone who states they make half a million dollars a year you sure have a lot of time for this stuff. Seems like the time could be better spent.

In Vegas, there is a service called House Seats and all most every show you can get FREE tickets to Celine Dion and she is one of the biggest hits Vegas has ever seen in revenue and attendance.

I'd see Celine Dion for free.

I would not want to see those dinosaurs known as Yes without Jon fronting the band. He and Dennis ought to do a tour; now THAT I would go see!!

No, three people are paying $15 plus service fees each to go. NOT free. Let's stick with Big Macs, you say that tickets are free and by your logic it would be exactly the same even if you reverse it. A Big Mac is $2.99, how if I give you one for $5.98 and the second one for free. The second Big Mac you’re eating is technically free, but you paid none the less.

In addition, this was a special from a membership site that is purely based on marketing and gathering data. They might have paid the venue full price for these tickets and they are selling them cheap to get more clients. Plus they only had a few seats and they were sold out of there allotment in hours.

What if you had fries and a coke than what? Or a McRib than its all out the window. How would like to sit next to someone who paid 15 bucks for the same ticket you paid 45? There might be fights in the crowd and Im not into that so no need to waste my time.

You’re a total jerk!!! I had finally gotten the damned McRib out of my mind and stop craving it then you have bring it up. Jerk!!!

BTW you have sat next to people who paid less and more than you in tons on situations. There was a special on America Airlines where a flight from Salt Lake to LA had coach tickets that ranged from $189 to $1200.

False. U2 sets aside 10,000-15,000 seats per stadium priced at $30. They could very easily make every seat $75 or $90 and gross an extra $1 million or $1.1 million per show.

That may sound admirable. But frankly 3rd level in the back of the stadium to me is worth about $10.No more.
But you are right, they could easily make an extra million, because people would be stupid enough to buy them.
