Didnt' Jimi get paid for singing "I'm Always Here" (The Baywatch Theme). Seriously, didn't the cat make boo-ku bucks by singing a theme song on a television show that was on tv sets in a zillion countries around the world?

Slander....from what I understand Jimi signed away the rights to the song before it went big and got next to nothing for it.

You may very well be right about that, I don't know?

Damn, not a wise move at all if that's the case!?!?

I wondered how the hell Jimi could have gone bankrupt if he was getting royalties from IAH.

I do remember several years back one of Jimi's band members telling me that Jimi was filthy rich from the royalties that he was making off of IAH. Maybe he wasn't aware that Jimi was no longer collecting royalties from it, if that is in fact true?

Hi Axe, back in 2002 when I spoke to FS and Jimi, I asked JJ if he got tired of singing the song and I think FS joked "I don't think he gets tired of walking to the mailbox for the checks." That's not a verbatim quote but pretty close.

Slander.....Who knows what the truth is...but as said above can't see why he would need to file for bankrupcy if he was getting those royalties. Maybe frankie was saying that to keep up images? Image is a very important thing to frankie when it comes to face to face with people. I know he likes to have that mystery or whatvever when it concerns himself and the fans. Almost like secret identity type thing like Batman or Spiderman or whomever. So maybe that was him preserving images about jimi and the band then. Who knows?

If Frankie was a supeerhero, people would be dead, because he would never come out of his secret ID to save someone. He would point in all different directions saying look there, no there, is it? But no hero would appear, and there would be a dead person lying on the sidewalk. Frankie wold then sue them slander because they said" where is Frankie our hero"
