OT: New Lindsey Buckingham Music

Any fans? New album "Seeds We Sow" is out and is quite good. I'm a big Fleetwood Mac Fan, and of Lindsey's guitar work. He's definitely aging, and the voice is showing signs. Lot's of vocal effects on the album. But at least, he's putting out some new material. I think Fleetwood Mac is also working on something - at least I thought I had heard that a few months ago. He's had new solo work n 2006, 2008, and now in 2011.

After David Gilmour, I think he's one of my favorite guitarists. Isn't that an odd combination? Anyway, for your enjoyment, here's a recent cut of his acoustic version of Big Love. I think it's a great example of his playing ability, even though again, he's starting to sound old (aren't we all).

It's a great album... his best since 1992's Out of the Cradle. He is my favorite solo artist and FM is one of my favorite bands. I have a second row seat to see him next month. Can't wait till next year to see what the Mac will do.

I like his work in Fleetwood Mac. I've sampled his solo stuff and it just doesn't do anything for me. I'm not knocking it or anything.

I love the new album and agree it is his best since "Out of the Cradle" (still one of my all time favorite albums period). I'm going to his show this Sunday in Chicago, should be excellent. I went to one of his shows back during the "Under the Skin" tour, and it was excellent. Lindsey is such a great talent, there is truely not another guitar player like him, so unique and he writes very interesting songs. I also really liked Fleetwood Mac's last album "Say You Will" most of LB songs on there were great. One of my fav's was "Red Rover" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zt-vnj1pRdA

Agreed, he's very unique, and Out of the Cradle is a great disc. He is going to be in Philly next week, but I can't go. Dang it. I'd be hard pressed to name my favorite tune of his, but Bleed to Love Her (the live version) is up there. I do not have Under the Skin, or the Screws disc - are they good?

Yes, both Under the Skin and Gift of Screws are really good also.
