What is number one and what is number two? I can't really decide, but they are just two damn good videos and will be how I choose to remember Styx. And yes, Styx is Dennis DeYoung. Styx today is dead to me. But the memories will always be there.

Uugh. One of their worst. The video is embarrassing to watch.

LOL...what you missed is somebody saying Music Time was the worst video ever...or something like that. Toph went all wacko and started trolling and posting this goofy countdown.
But, whatever..the whole situation is lame anyway.

Well he claimed certain people never start a positive thread about the music of Styx (w/DDY), but on the rare occasion it happens it last just a few posts. That these certain people only start negative threads about current Styx or derail others with negativity... also implying that he wouldn't do such a thing.

Hands down 2 of Dennis' best vocal efforts. You know how to pick 'em. Maybe Regurgitation 3 could include Gowan versions of these songs. Could you imagine? What a crime that would be.
Thanks for sharing. Now I'm feeling melancholy all of a sudden.

That's not gonna happen. Not from the hard rockin' rebirth of Styx. You will never see Tommy write another slow tempo song ever.

Are you dense? I never said that it's only one side of the fence that derails threads. I'm pointing out that it comes from both sides. I just crack up at the holier then thou attitude from some here about the subject. Maybe if those that are so concerned about the thread derailment would ignore those that do it then there may be less of it. But, we all know that's never gonna happen.

because you thought Monker had derailed this thread, you had actually already done so yourself.

I never claimed that I don't derail or consistently add negative comments to the threads here. I am not concerned with the derailment. It's the ones that preach about it and do it themselves that seem to be concerned with it. In my opinion, people are free to post whatever their thoughts are. You can agree, disagree, like it, hate it, ignore it, challenge it or argue it. What I don't get is that if someone's posts\replies annoy someone so much then why not just ignore them.

Please. The "countdown" wasn't mean as a positive influence on this forum anyway...it's just a troll trolling for arguments.
And, that's not a derailment. A derailment would be me and some other people going on insulting Dennis for pages.
I just thought it was funny that someone "Music Time" was the best video ever...and posted it in a thread which was a series of threads in response to that very topic.
Lighten up.
