Props for your camera work froy, well done.
But you saying this is how it's done is just hilarious. The only thing Dennis is doing here is playing the intro and that's it.
I can't believe his hired keyboard player is not out raiding the buffett, while Dennis should be doing the keys when he is not singing.
Lazy bum if I may say so myself.

Gr8Dane is right. This guy really doesn't do Tommy that well. Styx plays the Tommy stuff much better.

I dont think so at all, I think Tom Sharpe does a great job and is a wonderful musician. If Styx ever reforms I would like to see him take Todds place, Tom plays the parts closer to how John Panazzo would play them.

Not it's pretty clear that you're just trolling. Tom Sharpe is a master musician. Have you ever listened to his album "Like Setting Myself On Fire"? His drumming in Froy's videos is top-notch. There's nothing wrong with it at all. Try to tell me what's wrong with it....come on, try.

Right. Todd adds a ton of fills and things like that to Styx songs. Tom plays them essentially exactly as they were written so blame the writers if you don't like it. Listen to some of his solo stuff before you call him a bad drummer

That's exactly why I don't like Todd to many fills to much confusion Tom is dead on to John that's why I kept him in the video as much as possible

I did look. Yeah, it's close, but to say "This is how it's done" is just wrong. August does a good job, though his pronunciation of some words seems weird to me (moreso than Arnel! haha). This is good stuff, it really is, but I think that those here that say "Oh, this is better than Styx" are... FOOLING THEMSELVES. Dennis's solos are great and on the money. The rest of the band, I don't think is. In some of the songs, the guitar parts are not correct. Still, BOTH shows are good.

Is there a reason why it's necessary to pick one over the other? Man, go to both shows.
I'd love to see this show but Dennis never comes up here.

No but I can understand Dennis' reasons for not doing keys full time when he is the whole focus of the show. I would love to see him play more too. But, I think for Dennis focusing on the vocal aspect of his shows is the most important thing for him.

Yes there are different reasons for different people. For others it doesn't matter. It's personal choice not right or wrong.

Read my initial post again please.
I said Dennis should play more keys when he is not singing.
The guy on the right with the guitar is singing Tommy's song and I don't see Dennis singing.
So therefore the hired keys player should be doing crosswords during this song and Dennis should
be playing keys only and not pick his nose or hug the bass player.
