Cyclorama was a KILLER album. How mant songs from it are usually in the playlist? I'm betting none.

Funny you mention that if you were Larry you would be lobbying for some of your material in the set list. I think in a recent interview he comments that he used to make suggestions about the set list but has stopped. I believe in effect he said that it was best for Tommy and JY to make those decisions. Kinda makes you wonder if TS and JY gave him the impression his input wasn't needed. Doesn't that sound like more of a democracy then the old dictator days of Dennis?

10 out of 16 of Styx's greatest hits were written/performed by Dennis DeYoung. Who did you say is Styx again? What's more is that at least Renegade and Miss America underwent serious reworkings by Dennis to become the masterpieces that they are now.

I must say, that Ferrari does look mighty impressive there in the driveway pretty much all year round.
When it finally does get a spin it's only on weekends and rarely more than 3 blocks away.
The wheels are all jazzy, and when you play the radio you can't run the engine and when you run the engine ,you can't play the radio.
And what's with that floor mat on the roof that keeps flying off every time you hit 40.

Don't worry BB.
I saw Dennis 3 times with Styx, and he was the weakest link of stage presence.
Yes he wrote most of the songs and their only #1 hit.
But on stage he is such a twat ,way too full of himself
and you just had to look at the other players,to not get nauseated.
Styx being Styx without Dennis, but playing the songs he mainly wrote with help from the others,
that they did not get credit for.We are doing great now, aren't we.Glad you had a great time at the 11th.
No matter what anybody says ,Dennis is out and, Styx is carrying on.

Actually.Consider yourself lucky, that you did not have to sit through a show with Dinky.
I am still suffering from the experience.

Give me a break. Come Sail Away? JY and Tommy contributed with no credit. Pieces of Eight and Crystal Ball were weak efforts from Dennis. As far as the hits, why didn't Babe, a #1 song, sell more albums? Cornerstone sold about the same as GI and POE. Same thing with Mr Roboto and Don't Let It End. Kilroy sold less albums than the previous four. Tell me why?

OK so you two can like a band with a guy who can't sing the hits and has only two of the original members, and I will like the original main player who has a back up band that can play just as well :P

Have you ever seen a Gowan cover band?

I bet there's at least one playing in some dive of a bar somewhere deep in Canada. 8)

So then ignorance really is bliss

I am sick & tired of this crap. You like who you like & i shall do the same.

Yeah, Dennis was the guy who needed all the help to make his songs into something. That's why Tommy commented that JY was always the last to bring songs to the table and even then they had to have allot of work done to them to even make them into something usable. JY's solo work just shows you who was the weakest link when it comes to songwriting. You are so full of crap.

10 out of 16 of Styx's greatest hits were written/performed by Dennis DeYoung. Who did you say is Styx again? What's more is that at least Renegade and Miss America underwent serious reworkings by Dennis to become the masterpieces that they are now.

Just love how you skipped over Paradise Theater, you know their only number one album.
