Postby Sundet » Mon Jul 30, 2012 5:14 pm

An extended set from the May gig in Denver:

Only the Children
Hydra
St. George and the Dragon
Rosanna
Lea
Could This Be Love
I Won't Hold You Back
We Can Make It Tonight
Pamela
Human Nature
Manuela Run
How Many Times
Carmen
Stop Loving You
Hold the Line
==================
Africa
Home of the Brave

That is seriously one of the best setlists they've ever had!

Great to see "How Many Times" on there...underrated tune.

Really enjoyed the show in Majano, I won't go into details but it was great listening to some old and obscure tunes such as "St George and the Dragon" and "Manuela Run"; pure fun from beginning to end.

Oh, what I like the most about Joseph Williams is, unlike Kimball, he never leaves the stage, he's always there goofing off even when he doesn't sing a single note. I like the guy, myself.

I can't get enough of the clips from the shows this far. So glad I'm seeing them in Sweden next week. Hydra was the first Toto album I got and now they are opening with Only the children, Hydra and then St George. Killer opening! I've noticed that Luke skipped the guitar solo in OTC which in my ears makes the concert opening even more intense. Fantastic, they sound better than ever, and I've seen them in concert since 1988.

Great setlist and Joseph Williams has lost a ton of weight too. Good for him!

Joe is ascendant! They should record new material asap.

They sounded great in Smogen, Sweden last weekend. Many of us were there for the soundcheck as well. Maybe Joseph had a cold or something. I noticed he had some problem hitting a few high notes. I don't blame him though, some of those sings must be quite hard to sing. Actually, he sounds better and more confident than ever!

One thing I do like about Joseph is that he really does try "to sing it like the record".

Often found Kimball drove me nuts with the way he'd miss notes.
