I remember being outside mowing my lawn, listening to the radio on my headphones when the DJ announced this. Doesn't seem that long ago.

I just don't understand it, everybody was doing mountains of coke back in the day, yet Jeff is one of the only only ones dead from it out of all those LA guys and women. Maybe it was the smoking too. One of my drummers knew him well and told me at the end Jeff had the cardio vascular system of a 70 year old man. I'm so sad he's not here.

what does that mean - was he winded after playing or something?

I remember hearing he ate poorly...he was always smoking...but I don't know...Mick Fleetwood is still alive, Elton John, Motley Crue...etc...some people are like cock roaches. Shame Jeff left us too soon - musically he accomplished a ton while he was here

Andy Gibb had allegedly given up coke but it still got him in the end also just from the massive damage done to his heart.
