After week 1, our win tallies include:

Week 1:

Liam: 12-4
Jonny B (I'm assuming): 10-6
Matt: 9-7
mikemarrs: 8-8
Fact Finder: 8-8
YoungJRNY: 8-8
JohnFromBoston:8-8

Picks of the week:

Liam; Jonny B: Washington Redskins OVER New Orleans Saints
YoungJRNY: Tampa Bay Buccaneers OVER Carolina Panthers

Cool...thanks.

Pick of the week was Cowboys over SB Chumps. LOL

That Skins/Aints game was good. Flipped between that and Texans/Fins. Texans OBVIOUSLY had it wrapped up by the 3rd Q, so I mostly watched the other from then on.

I don't see the Cowboys being the pick of the week. Not only do these two teams know each other quite well, they are also division rivals that usually take it to the brink. Even in loss's, the Cowboys have squandered big leads to the Giants so seeing a Cowboys victory against the Giants wasn't all that surprising. The Washington picks were impressive, though. Possibly the most impressive upset pick I've seen in years.

We're division rivals?????

LOL...no...I know the Skins game was more of a surprise, but I'm proud of my 'Boys. FINALLY starting with a 1-0 record...unlike the last 2 years.

September and October ball has never been an issue for Dallas (or Tony Romo.) It's the grueling month of December that makes teams into the contender they would be in January. September, October and November give you a chance. If you survive those months, you have a shot in December to pull away. Unfortunately for Dallas, they can't get over that hump.

I'm not going to say my prediction for the 'Boys until the playoffs hit (I swear to be honest), but I WILL say that I have VERY high hopes for this team. Hell...if I meet up with y'all at the Cowboys/Steelers game, I might tell ya then.

I'll be there, brah. That would be a blast to meet up and have a brew or 10. Taking a big group, too. All Steelers fans but my brother (T-Time) and his cousin. Diehard 'gurls fans, haha. We have a group of 8 I believe. If the Steelers want to be boneheaded like there were Sunday against Denver, then it will be a miserable outing for the Steelers on the road in Dallas. Fortunately, this is ONLY week 1 of the football season and by then, the Steelers are usually dominating the December scene while the Cowboys are throwing up on their cleats, lol.

LOL I was driving through Green Bay a several years ago on a trip back from Michigans UP to Minnesota. Stopped for gas then- the clerk scowled at me threw the change at me , popped by Wendys or Hardees or some such fast food joint and the kid just threw the breakfast sandwich at me, people were just giving me dirty looks.
I was thinking why hell are all these people assholes in this town? I went to the men's room for a pee and took a look in the mirror. I had forgotten I was wearing my Vikings jersey.

Chicago versus Green Bay - I think Chicago has a solid team and believe Cutler will have a great season this year if he can stay healthy. That said, I just can't see the Packers going 0-2 at home to start the season. Packers by a TD.

Hey guys, I know everyone here hates Pittsburgh and the Steelers from a fan standpoint. I am officially a Steelers internet website editorial columnist writer on steelersfever.com. StainlessStill is my display name. Here's my first article. Let me know if you guys like it from a writing standpoint. Guys like John, Liam, AR and Matt are honest people, sometimes brutal. Honest assessments and telling it like it is, is what I look for.

Good on you. It's always fun to be able to discuss a team and a sport that you're passionate about.

I'll read it tomorrow. One initial impression, not of your writing but of the web display is that is would be much easier to read if formatted to take up the entire webpage screenwise.

Nope!

Anybody have a whole offensive line for sale? I'll pay triple.

That's Jerry Jones and his son-in-law, not the team. Jones is a money grubbing douche, and I've never felt any other way about him.
