What an embarrassing pathetic Bears on all sides of the ball.
3.5 million for Campbell. What a waste. Offensive line sucked,
But we knew that, I bet Cutler is saying "Damn football is way better on Tv"

Thank you, San Francisco. THANK YOU. THAT, was one helluva fucking performance. That's what I missed. They took it to another LEVEL. Their speed on the d-line is absolutley jaw-dropping. Awesome display of football. Fun to watch & one of the few teams I've seen this year to play at a very, very high level.

Where are you getting these numbers? According to the ESPN site, the top person has 101, not 104.

I disagree that it was fun to watch. As an overall fan of the NFL, I've ALWAYS hated blowouts, even when it's my team doing the blowing out. I could barely watch the Patriots/Colts game this weekend, because I was bored to tears, and the Colts looked AWFUL! Games like the Ravens/Steelers game was FAR more entertaining for me to watch. Give me a close game 100 out of 100 times, even if it's between two sucky teams.

I hear what you're sayin'. I didn't get the Pats/Indy, but I saw the highlight reel. I was sitting there saying "Glad this didn't waste an entire timeslot".

John, as for the pickem's: I had 3 wins the Pickem's didn't tally for me because I didn't get the pick in on time. I put those games down on these boards in writing and in bold once I missed the lock before kickoff by seconds. I had the Packers over Bears on a Monday Night, Browns over Bengals and the Bucs over Vikes a few weeks ago.

Considering the 9'er/game: I wasn't talking about the competitiveness. The football game SUCKED and the Bears got embarrassed right off the field. I was talking more from a players standpoint. For me, it was fun watching the 9'ers defensive line and their run-game as well.

Total beatdown and is exactly how I would want my team to come out week to week. They were fired up and was one of the few times I've seen a team come out pissed off. Some watch the entire game and watch flow. I focus in on all area's. Sometimes I'll just watch one player and see how he handles a matchup or just watch the d-line or offensive lineman. I like matchups and like to see how one player is holding his own against his opponent.

For example. The Steelers decided to play more of 1st round pick, DE Cameron Heyward the other night. First actual game where he got a significant amount of snaps. The dude was a monster, collapsing the pocket and not giving Flacco time to set and get comfortable. That's what Steelers fans wanted to see. Heyward was a brightspot in the loss and looks like he has the mean streak that Aaron Smith brought.

Well, prepared to be bored again on Thursday night when the Pats will likely destroy the Jets. I'm tempted not to even watch that game. I don't mind any other team beating up the Jets (let's face it, the Jets are a joke this year... even as a fan, I have to admit that), but for whatever reason, I take it too personally when the Patriots do it. I don't suppose you guys would be willing to trade Brady for Tebow, would you?

Tebow? Brady is more valuable than the entire Jets organization down to the coach's and players. You couldn't trade me the entire city of New York for Brady! Unless your Tom Coughin and the New York Giants of course

The divisional games are the hardest to figure out. The Bills put up a fight against the Pats some weeks ago and I expect the Jets to as well. Patriots by 14.

Aw, come on! Tebow is VERY valuable. He runs on to the field every few plays, loses a couple of yards, and then scurries off again. What more could you ask of a quarterback?

Actually, to be fair to my poor, pathetic Jets, they DID almost beat the Pats last time.

I wouldn't count on that. In fact, I expect this game will be quite close, just like most Patriots/Jets games are. They're almost never blowouts. Not to mention, don't underestimate the loss of Gronkowski. In my opinion, he's the most valuable receiver (whether Wide Receiver or Tight End) in the entire NFL. He has almost 50% of the Patriots TD's this season, so his loss is enormous. I still think the Patriots are a far better team and will win this game. I just fully expect it to be a close game.

But at least Sanchez occasionally throws the ball (not necessarily to a Jets receiver, but still....)

I think my only hope for Thursday is that Brady eats a bit too much Turkey before the game and starts feeling sleepy. If he's lying down, asleep on the field, then both teams will be pretty evenly matched and it should be exciting.

Dallas vs Washington - The Cowgirls flat out suck and have become one of the most fraudulent franchises in the entire league. Griffin is a dynamic player who an wreak havoc on opposing defenses. That said, I like the Fraudboys by 3

Houston vs Detroit - Detroit has reverted back to being Detroit. Houston is everyone's "best team in the AFC". I've watched Houston play several times this season. They're very good team. In spite of their 9-1 record, I still think they're very beatable. Lions by 4.

New England vs Jets - The Patriots are without Gronkowski, Logan Mankins and Chandler Jones. Not a good thing. The Jets actually have a very easy schedule for the rest of the season, so are definitely not dead yet. The Jets will be VERY fired up for this game and will come to play. These games are almost always close. Patriots by a TD.

Ya know... the more I watch the Jets, the more I'm starting to doubt their chances of winning the Super Bowl this year.

Completely embarrassing performance by the Jets with their season on the line. I'm not sure how any team with that much to play for puts on a performance like that on National TV. I knew the Jets sucked before this game, but I thought they would at least show up for this one!

The one good thing I can say about last night's Jets game is that it reached the point of "so bad, it's funny." I seriously stopped caring, and just found the whole thing pretty hilarious.
One thing I never understand though-- How can a team fail for so many years? The owners change, the coaches change, the players change, and yet, they haven't been to a Super Bowl in over 40 years. Granted, they did come extremely close a few times, making it to the AFC Championship Game, but still.

Anyway, the good thing about being a New Yorker is that I always have two teams to root for. A typical season starts out with me thinking, "Ok, maybe THIS is the year the Jets will finally get their act together!" and then, after a few games, I give up on them and just focus on the Giants. Sadly, unless the Giants pull themselves together soon, I won't even be able to root for them (thanks to the Redskins, though, there's still hope.)

Right, and neither of them even play in the state! Buffalo is the only "New York" NFL team!

Yeah, well, how many players on any team are actually even from the city or even the state that they're playing for?
As Seinfeld once pointed out, we're basically all just rooting for the uniforms. All these guys come from random places, they change teams every few years, and the only thing that remains somewhat consistant are the team's colors.
And I'm glad neither team plays in NY. Traffic is bad enough without that.
If network television around here ever showed Bills games (aside from when they're playing against the Jets or Giants), I'd happily follow them... though, that would usually just lead to more disappointment. I don't even know who their quarterback is these days. Is Doug Flutie still there?
