Since the playoffs are shaping up, I'm going to do something different and rank each AFC team and the threat they bring to the postseason.

On a scale from 1-10 ranking each team as a threat:

1. Houston 8/10
2. Baltimore 5.5/10
3. New England 8.7/10
4. Denver 9/10
-----------------
5. Indianpolis 6.5/10
6. Pittsburgh (in their current state) 4/10
-----------------
7. Cincinnati 5/10

Interesting perspective. How the heck did you come up with these numbers? Especially the 8.7? Denver will always be a threat, given Peyton Manning plays for them. That said, I wouldn't put them ahead of New England, based on what I've seen. New England already played Denver and as good as Manning was, Denver's defense couldn't stop the Patriots offense even one. I think the one thing you have to look out for is that Denver has a really good shot at landing the second seed. They have a cream puff schedule remaining with Oakland, Kansas City, and Cleveland three of their last 5 opponents. They also play Baltimore and Tampa, and they're better than both of those teams. The Patriots still have to play Houston and San Francisco. San Francisco's defense is the best defense I've seen in the league this season!

I don't think the Cleveland and Baltimore games are as cream-puffy as they once were. The Browns are playing really tough and have proven they can keep the games close if you make mistakes or fall behind....And Baltimore's defense has shown improvement in spite of all the injuries. Joe Flacco & co. seem to be the wild card; you never know what offense will show up. The Balty/Denver game will be a fun one to watch. Though Denver should win the Division, and I could see them becoming a 3-seed at-best (Houston's defense has shown vulnerability I could see the Broncos pushing ahead,) but I don't see them slipping past both Houston and Baltimore, nevermind the Pats whom they've lost to.

Point blank, when it comes down to it, if I'm any AFC team, I'm scared to absolute fucking death of Denver and New England. I had the Pats at 8.5, but bumped them up close to the 9 I gave Denver only because I think if it DOES come down to it, I'd think it would be much tougher going to Denver in the post-season than it would New England, but that's just my quick observation.

I don't wanna see either team and I can defiantly see Manning/Brady in the AFC Championship once more. Earlier in the year, Denver traveled to New England and what you could take out of it, is that earlier in the season, Denver started off as slow as any team in the league. They were down 31-7 and Manning led them back late and almost pulled it off, losing 31-21 as a final. If Denver starts hot if they DO meet again, no doubt I can see Manning off to a fast start and flipping the tables. The way Manning is playing and judging by how Denver seems to be getting it together, I'd give the slight and tiny, tiny edge to Denver.

As for the numbers, meh, just for fun, haha 8)

I never suggested Baltimore was a "cream puff". I was referring to Cleveland, Kansas City, and Oakland. That said, I'm not sold on Baltimore, at all. I've never liked Flacco, and their defense is nowhere near as good as it once was. The far more important point for me is that Baltimore still has to play Pittsburgh, Washington, Denver, the Giants, and Bengals. I wouldn't be shocked if they lost three of those five games. Definitely no automatic wins on that schedule, unless Ben is sitting out again this week.

Started by some idiot in GA. Even if the president had a real say in NFL shit, I sure as hell wouldn't want that dipshit deciding anything. ESPECIALLY for my team.

While I don't disagree with you, Jerry Jones is one of the biggest frauds in the history of sports! Dude is a complete ass-clown whose football knowledge wouldn't fill a fucking thimble! No other "GM" could hold his job this long and suck for this many years! Good thing he writes the checks!

The GM role should be given up, I agree. He's already hinted about doing something about that by saying something like "I would've fired me as GM". So...here's hopin' for the offseason "firing". lol

As for the guy who started this "petition"......YOU'RE A FUCKTARD.

This entire story has been yet another disgusting one in a long line of misplaced sympathy in suicide cases. This gutless maggot murdered someone and left a baby not just motherless, but parentless. Moreover, he was selfish enough to subject those who had given him an opportunity (Crennel and Pioli) to make nearly $2 million a year at the ripe old age of 25 to the traumatizing sight of him leaving a gaping hole in his own head. And yet, all the media stories have focused not on the mother or the kid, or even Crennel, Pioli and any other witnesses to the act. Instead, it has focused on this sick son of a bitch. Further, we have garbage like this:

espn.com wrote:A large group of Belcher's friends and relatives gathered Saturday at his boyhood home on Long Island.

His family turned the front yard into a shrine, with a large poster of Belcher, an array of his trophies, and jerseys and jackets from Kansas City, Maine and West Babylon High.

"He was a good, good person ... a family man. A loving guy," said family friend Ruben Marshall, who said he coached Belcher in youth football. "You couldn't be around a better person."

Out-fucking-rageous. A shrine and ode to a murderer on the day he committed the murder.

Couldn't agree more. I have a very hard time with case's like this and will leave my comments and sympathies of heartache to the woman murdered, her family, the 3 month old orphan (which is EXCRUCIATING to think about) Romeo Crennel, Scott Pioli and whomever else on the Kansas City coaching staff that had the misfortune and life altering event of witnessing somebody committing suicide in their presence. I don't have much to say to a coward who committed this selfish act.

Browns employee found hanged at team facility:

At about the same time Chiefs linebacker Jovan Belcher committed suicide in the presence of team officials in Kansas City, the Browns encountered a similar tragedy.

Jay Glazer of FOX reports that a Browns employee was found hanged in the team’s equipment shed on Saturday morning.

The coaches and players, per Glazer, already had left for Oakland, so none of them were involved in finding the employee.

We extend our condolences to the Browns’ organization, and to the family and friends of the employee whose life was lost.

Yep. I went from having 1 loss one second to about 6 in about 30 seconds with the overtimes plus Lucks last second touchdown for the Colts.

Looks like the pickems are going down to the wire, just like the AFC WC. My big lead is now cut to 2. Not sure what Liam did today.

Anyone else remember during the first Jets game of the season, the commentators were talking about how it may be time to consider Mark Sanchez "an elite quarterback"? That's pretty frickin hilarious in retrospect (actually, it was pretty funny at the time, too. Granted, he was playing well in that first game, but still, talk about jumping the gun.)
