Won't happen. Even if San Francisco wins the game, they're not running away from Green Bay. Their offense isn't that good!

Manning's no different than Brett Favre. Amazing regular season QB, TERRIBLE post-season QB. How ironic Peyton throws across his body, a rookie mistake, ala Favre in the 2009 Championship games against the Saints.

You're looking like a genius with this prediction. I'm stunned by how putrid Green Bay's defense is. I mean...how the hell do you allow a fucking QB to rush for almost 200 yards against youI give Harbaugh a lot of credit for putting Kaepernick in over Smith. Not that I ever thought that Smith was anything special. That said, a lot of coaches would have played it safe and stuck with Smith. It looks like after going 4-0 with my picks last week, I'll be 0-2 after this game. The NFL is nuts. Watch Seattle and Houston win tomorrow!

I was absolutley SHOCKED to see them play conservative football on 3rd and short (when they got stopped time and time again in short yardage situations) and not put the game in Manning's hands late in the game. They had 2 chances on 3rd down to ice the game, but instead, took it out of the hands of a Hall of Fame quarterback who you purposely went after in the off-season to pursue the type of quaterback-play in these types of situations Tim Tebow couldn't provide you. Not only that, but they took a knee with 30 some seconds left with two timeouts. How bout a couple quick shots downfield to atleast play for FG range and hope for a desperation walk off GW FG? You only got one of the most profiled QB's of this era to get you there. Eventually, it came back to bite them.

Spot on. I couldn't believe it either. cant stand that Dick Dan deirdorf he had some real gems.
"Peyton doesnt trust himself so he handed the ball off"
"Flacco has the strongest arm in the NFL"
No doubt FLACCO has a strong arm, he made some real nice throws and played a great game
but thats a strong statement to make as fact.
Denvers defense surprised me, I thought they were better than that. great game to watch(except for Deirdorf face)

I get very irritated and moody when I watch a game with Dierdorf. I'm hoping the Super Bowl is Nantz/Simms cause I am not sure I can watch another full game with Dierdorf. He just doesn't shut the hell up and comes across as feeling superior to everyone else. Wait a minute? Does he post here?

I felt like when they kneeled down with 31 seconds and 3 timeouts left, they were giving it away. It is quite possible to gain decent yardage, control the clock, and kick a FG under those circumstances.
The Niners - they flat out dominated. The score does not reflect the difference between the two teams. It was quite amazing. Crabtree, Gore, Kaepernick. It was crazy. If they continue to play like that, they will be Super Bowl Champions. But I have to say it again. The Niners have not won three games in a row this year and this was their second consecutive win. Their inconsistency pisses me off. The way they looked out there today, they are the best team in football. They way they looked against Seattle, the Rams, Minnesota, and for a bit, New England makes me think they can easily be beat by any team.
I hope momentum is on their side. I think tomorrow I will root for Seattle over Atlanta, though that makes me a little nervous. I think I'd rather see SF play at home. Of course, if they have to go to Atlanta, it's not all that far from New Orleans.

Fox's decision to kneel down with 2 TOs (wasn't it 2, and not 3?) and 31 seconds left with the game tied was unconscionable. He took the ball out of Peyton's hands (and at the time, it was possible Peyton wouldn't get to touch the ball in OT). It would have been a huge disaster for him if Balti took their first possession and won the game.
Peyton made some beautiful throws in the end zone yesterday, but he also made a lot of terrible looking throws. The guy can't play in the cold, especially when it comes to the playoffs.

Agreed....At one point in time a few years back i had Manning as one of the best if not the best and ahead of Tom Brady but i think overall Manning has hurt his legacy with all the playoff games he has lost and not been clutch at all in the postseason especially a 9-11 playoff record.Peyton Manning more and more does remind me a lot of Brett Favre and they are both probably close statistically also because overall stats don't mean much its winning that does.In that case i would definitely pick Tom Brady as right up there with the best of all time in regards to what he has done in New England not to mention all the AFC championship games, playoffs and Super Bowls he has made it to.Overall Brady has done way more than Manning and been way more clutch in the postseason.Even though Brady lost his last two Super Bowl appearances i think if he makes it to another Super Bowl and wins he would defintely be at the top as the greatest ever.

If Brady actually wins another Super Bowl, the argument is over for me. Sure, Joe Montana never lost one. Not relevant to me if Brady wins as many (with FAR less talent than Joe had) but got to two more than Joe got to. Losing a Super Bowl doesn't hurt a player's legacy if he's actually won some of those big games. Also, if (and again, it's a big if for me) the Patriots win today (and I think this game will be an absolute dog fight and could go either way), Brady will pass Joe Montana with the most post-season wins ever by a QB. Seven more TD's and he's number one all time in post-season TD's (passing both Joe and Favre). There won't be much else for the guy to do. Honestly, I was a HUGE Montana fan growing up (as was Brady). If someone wants to make the argument that Joe is the best ever (and I'm not convinced), I'll at least listen to that argument. Arguing that Peyton is better is beyond laughable at this point!
