Dude one of your fanbase spit on my wife at Heinz Field once. All we were doing was crossing one of the steel bridges back to the hotel. Her sin was having a Ravens cap on. Very uncomfortable walk. Try sitting in your own stadium just once with a Ravens jersey on and then look in the mirror. And I'm I'm not going to tell you it's any better for Steelers fans in Baltimore.
It's all the same, only the names will change.
Actually I found the fans in Nashville to be the nicest I've ever encountered, next to San Diego of course.
I've heard nothing but nasty things come out of Tennessee. I guess it's just who you are and who you encounter & what team you represent. I've been to more than you can count Ravens/Steelers games, including the AFC Title game in '08 and the parking lots were always civil and many Steelers/Ravens fans tailgating together, cooking together, playing beer pong, etc. I had a whole row of Ravens fans behind me numerous times and it's a fun time. I've been going to Steelers games since I was 7 and I never encountered the Steelers fanbase to be put fans through anything. Spitting on someone for having a hat on is downright juvenile and that dude should of been put behind bars. Hell, there's plenty of Steelers-haters in the Pittsburgh area and they have a ball downtown. Shame you experiened that, Ed.
Cleveland, if they could get away with it, would seriously gun-down Steelers fans. I went there in 2010 week 17 and they were just fucking ready to murder us. Like I said, I always compare to Heinz because I've been to a million home games and right away you could feel the intense atmosphere and jeers. Heinz Field is pretty calm when it comes to kickin' it. Too bad for them it was 80-20 Steelers fans though and 100% Steelers after the second quarter, haha. I had some buddies go to Baltimore and weren't fans of either team, just wearing their teams uniforms and they said Baltimore fans should of be fried, haha. I'd like to take a trip to Balty, would be a cool experience.
As for the coolest fanbase, that goes to Cowboys fans. They were kind of too nice, haha. I think they just respected the Steelers because Terrible Towels dominated the stadium but they were very polite. No one bit of hostility. Course I wanted to slam somebody if I heard "HOW BOUT THEM COWWWBOYSS!!!" screamed in my face fresh off the loss. Some dude came up to me, shook my hand and said "Jerry Jones sends his apologies." Then I hated them again, lol.
