Yup. Posted this on Fb last night saying "DAMNIT, RAT.". lol

His tenure in Dallas might be coming to an end, I think. With all the injuries the past couple of years....
Hell of a NT when healthy, but he's becoming more and more a liability. This adds to it.

Ray Lewis is going to be a proverbial knife in the abdomen of the 49'ers offensive line. He's going to cut, twist, turn, and stab that OL repeatedly. Wearing white, he will slice and carve his way through the hapless, defenseless opposition, and then quickly sprint away before trouble comes. That's just the kind of guy he is. After all, who knows God better than a murderer who has fathered six illegitimate children?

I personally don't care about Lewis' gaggle of kids and his four wives. Honestly, in the world of professional sports, it's really not that unusual of a story. I simply don't like (and never have) like the way Lewis carries himself. There is nothing remotely dignified about the guy. I found it interesting to hear Anquan Boldin say in an interview (when asked about Lewis) that this wasn't about one guy (and he's 100% correct). It was obvious that he was a bit annoyed that everyone is trying to make this about Ray Lewis. Truth be told, Lewis is a very average player at this stage in his career. There is certainly no crime in that, and I'd actually root for the guy and celebrate his career if he wasn't such a pompous ass about everything. I'm not sure what's more annoying about the guy...his mindless antics on the field or his endless bible thumping after each game. The guy could learn a lot from Ed Reed on the right way to carry yourself as a professional!

That's fair enough and understandable. I think the media is a big part of causing "Ray Lewis fatigue" among football fans. They eat his act up willingly.

Get a load of John calling someone pompous.   I agree on Ray Lewis though. Great player, leaves much to be desired, otherwise.

Interesting that ESPN would even want to go down this road, given that Ray Lewis is going to work for these ass bags.

I've been offered tickets to go to the game.

Ridiculous cost. Just insane. I'll pass and watch it in my hometown and hope to see boobie flashes if they win. 8)

Whew. My heart just sank. Things like that really make you glad to have your health. I'm going to stop complaining about stuff. After watching that, I have no complaints.

Good reality check. Thanks, Ed.

Very sad story. That said, what did that video have to do with converting Ray Lewis haters? I thought it was going to be a video of Lewis curing cancer!

Nothing to do with converting anyone = that's impossible no matter what the topic (look at politics). Just a piece to make people think before launching the usual smack. Brigance is who motivates Lewis and the rest of the team. It's not "all about Ray".

I'm glad these two weeks work in favor of the Superbowl. I'm already over Baltimore advancing. Either way, it's a kick in the ass for the Steelers to get better. The rivalry is going to be fuckin fierce next season. Baltimore kind of evened the playing field out for the time being. About time. I still fucking hate these douchebags. Every one of them. To Flacco's bitching and moaning after every game, to Harbaugh's "warrior" speeches everytime he beats Pittsburgh. It's pathetic. Go 9'ers.

I am so tired of the media saying that John harbaugh's decision to fire cam Cameron is some kind of brave, gutsy maneuver to be equated to Jim harbaugh's decision to replace Alex smith with second year qb kaepernick in the middle of a playoff run and Ina year in which his team was considered a Super Bowl favorite. To paraphrase Dan, the latter took serious balls, while the former reeks of a guy passing the buck and making someone else take the fall (to say nothing of the fact that he fired the dude after the DEFENSE collapsed and let a rookie backup qb beat them). Ridiculous-this "storyline" has been way worse than the brothers storyline!

Couldn't agree more. Jim Harbaugh's move was ballsy as hell. Coordinators get replaced all the time. Not much of a story there. The only thing that has saved me is that I have not watched even 30 seconds of Super Bowl coverage and won't watch any leading up to the game. The puke-inducing, circle jerk during the game will be tough enough to get through. I'm definitely a 49'ers fan next Sunday.

Fact Finder wrote:Computer Runs 50K Super Bowl Simulations; 49ERS Win 67% Of Time...

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Super Bowl XLVII will only be played once, and it will be on the field in New Orleans. But with two weeks to fill in between the championship games and the Super Bowl, there’s some time to run some numbers.

PredictionMachine.com, a website that predicts the outcome of sporting events based on computer models, ran more than just “some” numbers. They ran Sunday’s 49ers vs. Ravens match-up through their system 50,000 times to see what the most likely outcome of the game will be.

The 49ers won the game 66.9% of the time, and scored an average of seven points more than the Ravens in the simulations (28.6 to 21.3), with San Francisco outgaining the Ravens by an average of 85 yards per game.

Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco completed an average of 20.9 of 35.3 passes per game, with 1.3 touchdowns and 0.8 interceptions. The 49ers’ Colin Kaepernick completed an average of 17.2 of 28.8 passes, for 1.6 touchdowns and 0.8 interceptions, and rushed for 38 yards.

The 49ers get the edge in the following matchups: San Francisco run offense vs. Baltimore run defense, San Francisco pass offense vs. Baltimore pass defense, and the Baltimore run offense vs. San Francisco run defense (they note this as the difference maker). The only advantage that Baltimore has is their special teams.

This particular computer model has predicted the correct winner of seven of the last nine Super Bowls. More information about the simulations can be found at PredictionMachine.com.

Flacco calls a Super Bowl in a cold weather city "retarded". More evidence what a fucking jackass this guy is. I suspect the Ravens are probably going to pull this game out, but I couldn't be rooting any harder for the Niners. Between Ray Lewis' insufferable act of "Hey, look at me", and Flacco thinking he's the greatest player to ever grace our presence, I could puke!
