I can't wait for the Ravens to give Flacco his "worth." The dude thinks he deserves more than Peyton Mannng for Christ sake! This is the same dude that only accounted for only about, a lousy 50% of the offensive production and points and a couple game outings of LOUSY QB ratings, where he set the record the the lowest EVER this season for somewhere about .08 or so. Dude is a moron of epic proportions and I'm begging the Ravens to give it to him. See how their FO handles being tied down to one inconsistent QB and try to remain competitive to try to mix and match their roster year in and year out within the salary cap and the problem that would bring to stay ontop of their other needs.

A few hailmarry's here and there and Joe Flacco is considered Hall of Fame material. Git 'er done, Baltimore!

SI has a story that Ray Lewis may have used Deer Antler Spray from a company named S.W.A.T.S that could have potentially contained PED's that helped him recover from his torn triceps injury. Why do all these media outlets wait until The Super Bowl to roll out these stories. I'd bet my last nickel that Lewis has been juicing for most of his NFL career, just like 80% of the entire league!

Yeah, "Slice and Dice" Lewis has been cutting and juicing since 2000 or before. Guaranteed. Of course, most of the league probably uses HGH anyway.

That story has been around for 2 years and just now dusted off in time for the Super Bowl. Old news.

Drew Brees has also been tied to that product.

The NFL has had ample time to suspend him and hasn't. I wish they would since Ray isn't that great of a player anymore. 8)

I thought I've hated teams before in the past. Sometimes, you get hate mixed up with respect but man, these fucking Baltimore Ravens are easily the most hated personalities in football. Their media days are becoming so irritated that I can't stomach to see it any longer. I've never had that notion for ANY team before, but Baltmore's douchbaggery is highlighted even MORE-SO by media day on the biggest stage. What an EASY team to hate. Not because they are a good football team (I still think their not that great) but their overall personalities in how they represent. Between Flacco and his biggtory, Suggs and the non-stop bullshit having to put up with Ray Lewis, I hope they get embarrassed. Obviously, that translates into them winning it all. :x

Ray Lewis expects you to thank him:

“I believe that you should give everybody a fair chance to say their goodbyes. Playing that last game in Baltimore, announcing it the way I did, and knowing that it would be my last ride. Knowing that it would be my last time in M&T [Bank Stadium], it was one of the most amazing feelings ever. Just being able to appreciate that moment and not get to the end of the season – whenever the road stops – and say, ‘Oh, I’m done. I’m never coming back again.’

“I would have robbed a lot of people of those last goodbyes for me and them. That is why I did it that way.”

Hines Ward and Jerome Bettis's sendoffs came with one last victory lap around the stadium high-fiving fans before going into the locker-room. Ray Lewis dances with the Chippendale's with 20 camera's around him. Meanwhile, Randy Moss is the best wide receiver EVER & Ed Reed is already looking forward to playing in New England before putting on his Ravens jersey with the Super Bowl patch on it. Fuck this Super Bowl.

It's a 2 year old story. The NFL has known since 2011.

The banned substance couldn't have gotten into his system even if he did drink the deer piss or whatever the fuck that stuff is.

http://articles.baltimoresun.com/2013-0 ... ins-doctor

Dr. Roberto Salvatori, who runs a lab studying growth hormone deficiency and has been on the Hopkins faculty since 1998, said there is no scientifically accepted way to deliver IGF-1 orally.

“If there were, a lot of people would be happy that they don’t need to get shots anymore,” he said. “It’s just simply not possible for it to come from a spray.”

PLEASE suspend him anyway. The Ravens can put someone younger and faster in and let Ray preach from the sidelines. :o

As I said before, Lewis being on a banned substance really isn't news, and ANY NFL fan who really believes that there aren't guys on your team taking shit they shouldn't be taking is fucking clueless! Half the NFL is pumping banned substances into their bodies, and it really shouldn't be news to anyone! I don't need a reporter from Sports Illustrated telling me that Lewis is on shit. Look at the fucker. Dude is pushing 40 and has he physique of an 18 year old. I'm guessing that it's not from drinking banana shakes  It's been obvious to me for years that the dude is on a training "cocktail". That said, it doesn't make his career any less significant for me. I do agree with Travis that these guys are really an insufferable bunch. Between Lewis' bible thumping and painted on hair, Flacco calling ideas "retarded", and Suggs being the world class douche fuck that he's always been, these guys can't lose by enough points. Ed Reed has more class in his big toe than most of these fuckers have combined.

Someone on the 49ers said something far worse than Flacco today.

http://www.csnbayarea.com/blog/ray-ratt ... ic-remarks

Agreed about them all taking stuff. Legally these guys get dangerous pain killer injections from the team doctors to ignore injuries. (Ever see the former ESPN series "Playmakers"?) A little antler spray shouldn't be a big deal - especially when it is snake oil and doesn't work.

I've pretty much heard it all really. The Steelers have been one of the leagues marquee franchise's so I'm sure most fans find every reason to hate them and I'm sure some dickheads over the years gave the organization a black-eye. You can go down the list and pick out a prick that makes you hate a team. The more and more Baltimore is givin' the floor, the more exaggerated they seem to become. It's basically the tiny things like Harbaugh's Gatorade baths in mid season & creepy stuff like their owner rubbing Ray Lewis's arm like a baby as he stands there and cries on him in their ceremony. Their just a way over-exaggerated and obnoxious bunch & most NFL fans have taken notice.

It would be fitting for Lewis to lose the Super Bowl as the last game of his career...

I honestly don't think this Baltimore team is that good of a team. Having said that, Kaepernick is such a wild card in this game. Very young player on the big stage, so who knows what you'll get out of the guy. He'll determine the outcome of this game. If he plays well, the 49'ers win. If he doesn't play well, Baltimore is more than capable of pulling one more game out. For selfish reasons, I'm really pulling for the 49'ers. I'm usually a big fan of most of the "all time greats" in the NFL. I find Lewis to be one of the most insufferable human beings ever, so I simply can't root for the guy. For the record, I would still rank the guy in my top three Linebackers of all time (out of the guys I've seen play).

Like a deer's antlers, or a torn triceps on steroids, the Ravens' defense will continue to grow as the game goes on. It will be like a murder outside an Atlanta night club! Suggs will hold the proverbial arms of the Niners' line behind their backs while Lewis slashes through, over and over and over again.

If the 9ers D-line can consistently put pressure on Flacco with out having to bring extra guys on a blitz, I think the 9ers win this game. If that pressure is not there fairly consistently, I fear a long sad day for my team. With Justin Smith still recovering from injury, I am more than a little worried. Hope these last two weeks went along way towards healing up that arm of his.

Dan Marino's squeaky clean image now damaged. Though he's been married to his wife since the 80's and has 6 children together, recent scandal broke out of Marino's affair with a fellow CBS studio producer, giving the woman millions and millions to keep their child hidden from the tabloids. Skeletons in the closet. EVERYBODY has them.

No you DON'T know actually. I'm a bit older and have dealt with this far longer.

Your ARROGANT fanbase came strolling into Memorial Stadium in 1996 when we first got the Ravens and they acted like jerks.

We were "the Browns", (according to your fans) we had no rings. We "stole" our team (never mind what was done to our city with the Colts) Obnoxious fucking assholes. We were just happy to get a team back and then had to deal with that. Your fans acted like THEY won those Super Bowls themselves. I've never seen a bigger bunch of assholes disrespect a host stadium. People waving towels into unsuspecting fans faces. Fights, disrespect of the city they were visiting. Everything you think about Steelers fan treatment in Baltimore in 2012 was cultivated by Pennsyltucky assholes in 1996.

Well, we as a fanbase we learned from this. It no longer happens.

Everything you think we are and previously said about Baltimore fans - the Steelers fans created. We are your Frankenstein.

I was a Baltimore Colts fan from the early 70's until they left. I had no beef with the Steelers until I encountered their inbred fanbase with my new team and saw how they behaved.

My wife getting spit on in Pittsburgh is just one story. I could write a book.

I don't hate the Steelers players, (except for Hines Ward, and maybe the rapist) I hate the fans I have dealt with, which is far worse. Funny thing is, I have a lot of Steelers friends though. We laugh about it but they know how I feel. Believe me your minor hatred of some Ravens players PALES in comparison to my experience with fans of your team over the years. It isn't even close.

You're assholes, because WE'RE assholes. For every asshole thing a Steelers fan has created, a Niners, Patriots, Ravens or Panthers fan is equally as guilty as the other. I'm sure Falcons fans view the Saints fans as the devil. Jets fans are equivalent to Ravens fans to the Patriots, as the Ravens are to the Steelers. Same thing. HATRED. Still doesn't change the fact that the Ravens and their squad are a bunch of sarcastic and overly obnoxious camera whores 8)
