Outside of Dennis returning, would you go to see them in concert?

Change the name of the person leaving to JY, and the answer would be yes.

Who replaces him?

Normal concert goers don't care who's in the band so they would still go.
Me maybe idk. I love JY and all but tommy is the face of the band and it
would be difficult to get through a show without him.

Speaking of getting through a show without him... Has anyone been able to find any videos from the Orlando show on Sunday when he was unable to sing? He mentioned that the others did a good job covering for him. It would be interesting to hear those versions of his songs.

You could replace him with anyone. Maybe you convince Glen to come back for a third tour. For me personally seeing Styx without Dennis leaves me a bit hollow. They're still a great band, tommy and JY still sound fine and Larry is entertaining, but it's just not 'true' Styx to me. Funny because in most other bands it doesn't matter so much. Journey without Perry is the other band that doesn't feel quite right.

I basically go to see Tommy now. Not sure if I'd be up to see a version of Styx without Dennis and Tommy. Also the reality is, without tommy who's to say Todd or Larry would stick around?

We've had this one before and I will give the same answer.
No, I would not go and see Styx without Tommy .
But by the time Tommy is ready to retire,JY will be too.

That video is private. And Come Sail Away wouldn't really be any different, would it?

It really did sound different without Tommy's high harmony. I really missed it. His voice truly is integral to their sound.
Sometimes it makes no sense at all.

Coming from someone who doesn't feel that Dennis is integral to the sound, you've lost all credibility to make this statement.

I have never once said that DDY was not integral to their sound. The only thing I have ever said is that I am not, nor have I ever been, a fan of his. Period. As for my statement above, I was referring to how Styx sounds today. Thank you for your feedback, and have a nice day.
