Saw DDY last night at BBKings in NYC and will post set list in a bit. But at the end, he said, go to my website and I will be posting some big news soon about 2014. Anyone know what this might be?

hahaha.

I bet it's the Paradise Theatre thing. Wish he wouldn't do that personally.
It'd be great if it was a new album, but yeah, probably not.
NO. He's NOT Steve F'ing Perry. But he's Arnel F'ing Pineda and I'm okay with that.

Thinking if it was PT tour/DVD that he would have tested out more songs. Just played the big 3 from that album.

Wasn't he supposed to start playing Castle Walls and record a DVD this year?

Awhile back DDY talked about doing an all acoustic DVD release. He hasn't mentioned it since. My guess is that was scrapped. The last thing he talked about was toying with the idea of doing the PT themed shows one last time. Maybe that is what he is hinting at. I can't see a new album coming but you never know. I think we all can agree it's not an announcement about a Styx reunion.

His acoustic shows are awesome, I would rather have that than a PT redux :|

Current Styx ought to open with their Grand Illusion /Pieces of Eight show and Dennins and his band ought to close with Paradise Theater and Kiroy Was Here. Show starts at 7 and concludes at 11:30

AWESOME!!!

Still she treats me like a human??????? What was he thinking?????

Maybe before she treated him like a fish or a horse. Who knows??

Tommy and Styx need a do over on that line. Hell change human to hero and the song is better. Wow that song and that line is on a #1 album.

It would be cool to see Paradise Theater/Kilroy back to back.

The only clue I have is that I've seen 2 shows with symphonies doing a google search for dennis deyoung 2014.

I couldn't agree more. I was looking forward to it since I was not able to catch any of the acoustic shows. It's something that would be unique. I doubt you would see something like this done by the current Styx. Since DDY has not said a word since one could assume this is not to be. Bummer.

It would be a nice change of pace for them to do unplugged shows every now and then.

I wonder how long it will be before DDY posts this "Big News" on his site. One thing that frustrates me is it seems that his site rarely has anything new on it. I wonder if this is something that is just going to vaporize like other things he has mentioned.

Dennis unfortunately is great at getting your hopes up only to disappoint. He definitely said check out my website as in the next few weeks I have some big news. Not going to tell you now but will post it so check back. Either he's waiting for some reason or whatever it was has fallen through.

Sounds like someone is in need of a good PR person. Lately, he has been the boy who cried wolf.
