It is absolutely horrible to see him in a state like this, though I am very happy that he is feeling progress and that there might just be a treatment that can at least slow that dreadful disease.
The most touching thing is that, amidst all this utter misery, Mike still has every bit of his sense of humor.

Hope I see a cure to this (and other disabling) ailments in my lifetime. Life can be a real bitch sometimes. Mike is prolly looking forward to the new TOTO cd as much, if not more, than any of us.

Heartbreaking to see an awful thing like this happen to a guy who is young, handsome, vibrant and still had so much left to give.
What an evil condition. Big props for Toto for using their reunion as a platform to raise awareness of this condition and to help this guy out. Things like that are why they are my favourite band.
ALS and Prostate Cancer are two things I would really like to see the fucking back of.
