Man, that is sickening, they're actually adding new dates in 2016 as we speak with several Canadian dates at casinos just announced in the last week. What the fuck is wrong with these guys? Chris is gone, and without Jon either, there are no original members left. It really is sad just how desperate people can be for money.

It makes me respect Toto even more after seeing this. This is exactly why Luke pulled the plug in 2008 because he didn't want the band ending up like that.

I'm not surprised either. As long as there are alimonies to pay and standards of living to upkeep, the current members will keep on touring. Moreover, most 'oldies' bands these days are brands rather than bands, and some of them, I guess, will keep on touring into infinity with new generations of members.

Or they are having a hard time accepting going on without Chris. Maybe it's just honouring contractual obligations and then calling it a day.

Actually, both Steve & Alan have been married for several decades, as far as I know, so even alimony isn't an excuse for this.

One of my favorite bands of all time, but even I wish they would hang it up now. Do the gigs you were already contracted for, but then either do one last hurrah with John & Rick (and Trevor, while we're at it, why not?) or hang it up out of respect for both Squire and the legacy of the band and music they created.

I don't begrudge them continuing to tour or play Yes music, but just properly bill the band as "Steve Howe & Alan White" or, y'know, something else that properly states exactly what people are buying tickets to.

But really, Alan can barely play the drums anymore...I enjoyed last year's show for what it was, but watching Alan struggle through those tunes was tough at times. He's done. And Howe has decades of solo stuff to tour on (or he could rejoin Asia) and presumably plenty of Yes money to last him for the rest of his life (which can't be much longer, I mean...he's basically Skeletor with a guitar at this point)
