I was NOT expecting that level of intellect going into that article. The more I read, the more it sent some chills down my back. I read it a good handful of times already, something I almost never do. That's about as relevant of an impact as one article can get. Go figure, what's our next installment after Wonder Woman? Justice League. A movie message in itself about setting aside personal differences and coming together to fight for good against evil. Too awesome.

In 2019-2020, the "discerning public" (meaning the you-know-who's) are going to hold the DCEU in a very different regard!

Batman v Superman aired at 8 P.M. and brought in 2.33 million total viewers.

Muddafukka. That's with the film being available on streaming/digital and home video, and having been watched X times in theaters.

More people like it than dislike it, no matter what the haterfools want everyone to believe. 8)

...plans are in place to "double down" on the studio's major franchises, which of course include all DC-related properties, the rejuvenated Harry Potter flicks, as well as the LEGO movies.

Dat's right, bizzitches! MORE DC MOVIES COMING.

Zack Snyder Firming Up Post-'Justice League' Plans with 'The Last Photograph' (Exclusive)

Snyder is still intent on directing 'Justice League 2,' but that film has been pushed back to make room for Ben Affleck's Batman stand-alone.

Zack Snyder is going from the epic world of DC superheroes to war-torn Afghanistan.

After wrapping Justice League, Snyder is not tackling Justice League 2, as was the initial plan, but rather is focusing his attention on his long-in-development thriller The Last Photograph.

Snyder is still intent on directing Justice League 2, but that movie has been pushed back to make room for Ben Affleck’s Batman stand-alone movie. The move left an opening in Snyder’s schedule for a production that is smaller-scale, at least compared to massive superhero tentpoles he has been working on of late. Call it a palate cleanser, if you will.

Snyder set up the project in the mid-2000s, after the success of 300, but the rights lapsed. Gianni Nunnari’s Hollywood Gang is in the process of negotiating a new deal.

Snyder concocted the story and his longtime colleague Kurt Johnstad wrote the script, which will get a sprucing up. In 2011, Christian Bale and Sean Penn were attached to star, but the project is now actorless. The plan, sources say, is to repackage the project and approach Warner Bros., where Snyder and his producing partner and wife Deborah Snyder have a first-look pact for their Cruel and Unusual Films banner, with the aim of having it shoot in late 2017.

Photograph centers on a war correspondent in Afghanistan who is the only one to survive an attack on a group of Americans. When a special ops soldier in search of a family member shows up, the two team up, with the correspondent hoping to score the story of his life.

But, but, but...but Snyder is a hack and Hollywood/WB hates him. He'll be lucky to find work!

Good on him. He needs a cleansing from these huge superhero blockbusters before returning to the DCEU. The dude has been unlawfully berated. Good to see him lining some other things up. I know he wanted to do a gritty George Washington movie as well with him and his men coming in to take America as theirs. That would be sweet.

A shit-ton is happening with the DCEU right now in terms of announcements:

Aquaman has a release date. October 5th, 2018 with a 160 million dollar budget:

Image

Patrick Wilson (Watchmen) has been cast as Orm in the James Wan Aquaman movie. He joins Jason Mamoa as Aquaman; Amber Heard as his wife Mera and William DaFoe as Vulko.

Armie Hammer is rumored to be apart of the DCEU in a mystery role (speculation includes Green Lantern or Nightwing.)

Jackie Earl Haley (Watchmen) could be involved in the DCEU. Nothing to report as of yet.

Suicide Squad 2 is in development.

A Gotham Sirens movie is official featuring Harley Quinn with the potential of Poison Ivy and Catwoman to co-star.

A Will Smith Deadshot spinoff is in the works.

Ben Affleck's 'The Batman' is official for a 2018 release date and will start shooting in Spring 2017. Cast as of now includes Jeremy Irons as Alfred; J.K Simmons as Commissioner Gordon and Joe Manganiello as the villain Deathstroke.

James Wan is gonna bring it.

Patrick Wilson is a seriously underrated actor, too. Great choice for Orm.

Borrowed SS from my brother in law. Hopefully will watch it tonight. I have $0 invested and low expectations. Though I may be tempted to compare it to the last superhero flick I saw, which was Dr. Strange that was fantastic!!!!

Man, that SUCKED! Even the 3 year long wait from Man of Steel to BvS was long as fuck. Wasn't TDK to TDKRises 4 years in between? Brutal.

I smell a trailer... :!:
