Eh, aside from Bobby singing the word "Hey", the songs don't sound very similar. Can't find lyrics online. I'll post it.

Luke is a one of a kind. I don't hear any attempts to rip-off his sound. I think the album has it's own sound . Soul pop with alot of brass and even some country influences.

We'll have to agree to disagree on this one.
IMO, he is totally trying to emulate Luke's tone, phrasing, note choices...trying to "one up" him too by how fancy he (or she...I have no idea who is playing on the tracks) tries to be.
I think it was intentionally done too.

I don't hear it, but I respect your opinion. If he wanted to rip-off TOTO he would have used Tommy Denander and re-recorded the hits or something. Last album Bobby did with Zaika "All I Ever Needed" also had its own sound.
