You have to be pretty out of touch to believe that the New York Times shifted to the right in recent years. They just gave a prominent editorial spot to anti-Trump conspiracy theorist, Louise Mensch who is completely mental. That's the equivalent of Wall Street Journal giving an op-ed spot to Alex Jones. I don't even know why you bother commenting on politics. You are completely disassociated from reality. Nearly every single major newspaper endorsed Clinton. But you think they are out to get her?

He also ensured that Trump will almost certainly be investigated for obstruction of justice and probably abuse of power. Those are good things, too.

I made no mention of a "crime". Others here may have I did not. That's for Congress and the DOJ to determine. I was also affirming that the investigative committee discussed that the notes\memos became a record of events and property of the FBI. I was pointing out that not only did Comey write these notes when talking to Trump but also Obama. I also found it very interesting that not only did they order his notes on Trump be turned over to them but Obama AS WELL. It will be interesting to see\hear what is in those.

It's a violation of the Privacy Act of 1974

“No agency shall disclose any record which is contained in a system of records by any means of communication to any person, or to another agency, except pursuant to a written request by, or with the prior written consent of, the individual to whom the record pertains.” 5 U.S.C. § 552a(b).

Comeys memos are government property, and the fact that he released them whilst still a government employee, most importantly WITHOUT the POTUS consent, only confirms his intent was political, because he had nothing criminal with which Trump could be charged.

If I'm Trump I'm gonna direct the DOJ to investigate Comey and hang him by his gonads.

IMHO Comey should be getting himself fitted for some work boots, the kind people who break rocks wear...

It is true that in a democracy it is the will of the people that is supposed to prevail, but neither Socrates, nor Plato believed in democracy as long as it is interpreted to mean that the opinion of ignorant persons is to be given equal weight with the opinion of those who are well informed.

Which is why a VAST MAJORITY of the american voting base should NEVER be allowed to vote.

Except he's not. He is the weakest President I have seen in office. He has not been able to pass a single major piece of legislation. He has made himself irrelevant. Congress just repealed laws to regulate wallstreet. Was that part of Trump's agenda, too? Or, was he to be a hero for the middle class and not the elite on Wall Street?

In a way, it's hillarious to watch. Republicans control the Presidency, and both the house and senate...and still can't govern. At least Obama could get Obamacare passed. Republicans can't do that, and they have tried, multiple times.

When Monkey says "laws to regulate Wall Street" he's referring to Dodd-Frank, which was garbage legislation and criticized by both parties. Monkey also "cares" so much about regulating Wall Street that throughout the primaries he took a shit on Bernie Sanders - the only candidate who actually wanted to reinstate real Wall St. reforms like Glass-Steagall. He also endlessly waved the pom poms for Queen Hillary who just recently defended her speeches to Wall Street. It was her husband btw who signed the repeal of FDR's Glass-Steagall that allowed investment and commercial banks to merge leading to the crash. But remember folks, Monker really truly cares about the working class and Wall Street. As usual, everything this guy says is total bs.

Well, that is SOP.

I call out Trump for being weak, unable to pass a single piece of legislation, and now congress is ignoring his agenda and doing their own thing. And, you respond by calling a bunch of names.

S2M - same thing, call him a bunch of names.

Comey - Lays out the case for 'obstruction of justice.' Response from both Trump and Trumpians - call him a bunch of names.

Clinton's - no real "discussion" of anything, just copy/paste crap and call her names.

Not only is the President extremely weak. But, so are his supporters. If you all were half as tough as you pretend to be, you would stand up and admit that Trump is weak and congress is now ignoring his agenda. You would admit Trump has real issues in his Presidency, and his own personna, that are causing him real issues in his ability to govern. You would call him out and demand he get his shit together. You are so weak you can't even critique the obvious, let alone call him out to demand change.

You are so much like lemmings, so unable to break the Trump line of lies, that you don't admit problems and put forth any effort to solve them....you know - what leaders do. You just follow his line, repeat his lies, and make excuses. All you know how to do is direct your exagerated angst elsewhere.

But, that doesn't change reality. It won't pass healthcare. It won't build a 30ft concrete wall. It won't cut taxes. It won't keep impeachment from happening.

So, keep it up, lemmings, you are only following Trump into his political grave.

Bottom line is, and it's a very sad state of affairs, your constant hate for Hillary(and all things liberal, for that matter) outweighs your like for Trump...and so it was for the voters. They hated BOTH candidates, they just hated HRC more.

Anyone who respects this chimp....errr...chump, has definite mental health issues. He has not shown one iota of professional fortitude. But don't get me wrong, he'd get my vote for Gesticulator of the Year, and also my choice for the cover of 'King of Excellent Ideas that never come to Fruition Monthly'

But hey, he's your candidate, YOUR president...and I hope the lot of you man-up when things really go south for him, and this country.

TPP was not even ratified and therefore was not affecting the economy in any way. So, pulling out of it means nothing.

This also does not show any strength in leadership or ability to pass legislation. Leaders get things done, not - as in this case - refuse to do things.

Trump is an incredibly weak leader, and you just gave an example of it.

If it was so easy, why didn't your girl Hillary support withdrawing? Oh right she did, only after Bernie and Trump supported doing that. You can insult your fellow Americans on MR all you want. Short of dying, I'm not going anywhere. And I'm here to expose your bullshit.

This entire post is at hominem garbage.

This entire forum is full of ad hominem garbage.

You have nothing positive to say about what Trump is doing so you attack. Almost everything you do is ad hominem. For you to critique anything as ad hominem garbage is laughable at best.

And, it is behavior modeled from the top...that is exactly how Trump operates. He is accused of something, anything by anybody, and that person is attacked and attacked until they are driven into silence.

That may work in his NY real estate business. But, it will eventually fail in politics...as he is continually exposed as not knowing what he is doing and pushing and crossing the legal boundaries of his office.

Trump himself is a fraud. He lied to the American people in almost every promise he made during his campaign. There are probably a dozen "No new taxes" type of statements Trump made that were outright lies. It's pretty sad that you losers can not see how badly this salesman took you for.

May want to take the corn cobs out of your ears son. I repeatedly said that TPP is dead and buried. Trump did that. I've got tons of great things to say about Trump.

Seems to me Monkey that you are desperately trying to change the subject from Wall Street regulations, which was the initial point you were making. Instead of debating the merits of reinstating glass-steagall or repealing dodd-frank, you are generalizing about people that post here. I will debate you on policy any day of the week. Unlike you, I am not a fraud. I have done my homework. To date, you have never lived down your claim that "Hillary had permission to use her private server." It perfectly sums up everything about you. Fake facts from an uninformed idiot who thinks he knows everything.

That is complete bullshit. I made a post where the point was that Trump is such a weak President that the congress has abandoned his agenda and substituted their own and gave the example of repeallling Dodd-Frank. You replied with a bunch of bullshit insults towards me. THAT IS HOW THIS FORUM IS RIGHT NOW.

As for Glass-Steagall vs. Dodd-Frank. Of course it would be best to have Glass-Steagall. That is not the argument with me. My point is that the Republican congress wants NO REGULATIONS, as it was in 2009 and prior that led up to and caused the economy to crash. If THAT is Trump's view, then it certainly favors Wallstreet and not the average person.

I have argued this so many times in the past. Banks should not be selling stock. An insurance company should not also be a bank. A stock brokerage should not be selling insurance....and any other combination. Having a "financial institution" be a bank, sell stock, and insurance is a part of why the economy crashed in 2009. Bank side making bad loans, the loans bundled together as a "high risk" investment and sold by the brokerage side...all within the same company. Then, because they have all these things tied together, the company becomes "too big to fail". THAT IS *THE* PROBLEM.

So, now you are calling me "Monkey" in every post and you seem to think you have some type of moral high ground to say "dirty words" such as "loser" are pretty low. The only other name in the post you quoted was "Trump", and yes, I can see if you believed I was calling you a "Trump" that it would be a pretty low insult.

But, whatever. NONE of you Trump losers have started a positive conversation about Trump. Can't be done, especially by people like you who are so used to throwing insults in this forum.

Trump spoke about getting rid of Dodd-Frank on the campaign trail all the time. Again you are simply misinformed. If you want your points taken seriously and to be addressed, maybe try posting something that isn't a lie.

The Circa report today about Comey and Loretta Lynch is a really good read. Comey is such a pussy.
