And, that is somehow mainstream media bias? Bullshit.

Do you even listen to the outright LIES from Trump? Are you deaf to how almost every time he is accused of anything negative he response in EXACTLY the same way...he says it didn't happen, he lies about what did happen, he exaggerates, and he attacks the accuser. If possible, he threatens to sue or take them to court. He does this EXACT SAME THING over and over again.

In the beginning it may have worked. There is a certain amount of desire to trust someone who wants to be President, or IS President. But, he has lied so often about so many things and exaggerated almost EVERYTHING he speaks about that he is a person that you just CAN'T listen to and expect any measure of "truth". I don't think he knows what "truth" is.

Look how worked up Russia conspiracy theorist and aspiring mass murderer, Monker, gets over this. Further proof he is out of touch with America. Nobody cares dude. The majority of this country is wearing a name tag and manning a fryolater.

The Swift Boat Veterans for TRUTH, ran ads in swing states questioning Kerry''s service medals, and his fitness for the presidency...all lies. The Vets he served with backed his story.

You fucking conservatives on this forum need mental health assessments. You, like all republicans, have selective memory.

You're assuming all of the Swift boat members were conservatives. Many veterans were genuinely upset by JK's anti-war testimony. In addition, sum of the Swift boaters, like Larry Thurlow, served alongside JK. Wrong again.

It's not being "contrarian" to point out that Kerry was not some universally loved war hero. Far from it.

Seems like the $15\hr minimum wage hike in CA is going well for the restaurant industry.

Restaurant Die-Off Is First Casualty Of California’s $15 Minimum Wage

Guinea pig cities in California testing out the $15 minimum wage increase before the rest of the state have reacted negatively to the change, and that’s pretty bad considering that these areas are far more affluent than their inland neighbors.

Fresnobee reports:

[…] San Francisco, an early adopter of the $15 wage. It’s now experiencing a restaurant die-off, minting jobless hash-slingers, cashiers, busboys, scullery engineers and line cooks as they get pink-slipped in increasing numbers. And the wage there hasn’t yet hit $15.

As the East Bay Times reported in January, at least 60 restaurants around the Bay Area had closed since September alone.

A recent study by Michael Luca at Harvard Business School and Dara Lee Luca at Mathematica Policy Research found that every $1 hike in the minimum wage brings a 14 percent increase in the likelihood of a 3.5-star restaurant on Yelp! closing.

Obama's library will not be fully constructed until 2021...

(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch today announced that the National Security Council (NSC) on May 23, 2017, informed it by letter that the materials regarding the unmasking by Obama National Security Advisor Susan Rice of “the identities of any U.S. citizens associated with the Trump presidential campaign or transition team” have been removed to the Obama Library.

The NSC will not fulfill an April 4 Judicial Watch request for records regarding information relating to people “who were identified pursuant to intelligence collection activities.”

The agency also informed Judicial Watch that it would not turn over communications with any Intelligence Community member or agency concerning the alleged Russian involvement in the 2016 presidential election; the hacking of DNC computers; or the suspected communications between Russia and Trump campaign/transition officials.

Conservatives seem to preach staus quo. Conservatives don't believe in handouts, or social programs, or even..pray tell...programs that help the retired or elderly. Nice, huh? They believe everyone 'should' be capable of supporting his, or herself...regardless of circumstance. But that forceful individual responsibility ends with standing up for oneself, right?

Conservatives are a bunch of women...they want gender equality only when it serves their current cause. They want equal pay, but still want to be courted. Double standard much? Want the glass ceiling raised, but still want the guy to pay for dinner.

As it is with conservatives...they want you to pull yourself up from your bootstraps. Don't take that free*whatever*, but also don't stir the social pot. Know your fucking place.

What happens to the former home state of former President Obama that has been under Democratic control and catered to unions? This.......

Official Warns Illinois Finances In "Massive Crisis Mode"

HICAGO (AP) -- The Illinois official responsible for paying the state's bills is warning that new court orders mean her office must pay out more each month than Illinois receives in revenue.

Comptroller Susana Mendoza must prioritize what gets paid as Illinois nears its third year without a state budget.

A mix of state law, court orders and pressure from credit rating agencies requires some items be paid first. Those include debt and pension payments, state worker paychecks and some school funding.

Mendoza says a recent court order regarding money owed for Medicaid bills means mandated payments will eat up 100 percent of Illinois' monthly revenue.

There would be no money left for so-called "discretionary" spending - a category that in Illinois includes school buses, domestic violence shelters and some ambulance services.

I see a massive tax hike in the very near future for the Illinois tax payers.

Those that got out and voted for Trump aren't looking for any establishment party to make this country great again. Anyone that was paying attention could clearly see that even though Trump ran on the Republican ticket, he wasn't a "died in the wool" establishment Republican nor a career politician. People were looking for an outsider and that is one of the reasons people voted for him. The Dems put up a corrupt and tired old hag which helped him greatly. Speaking of "stealing" elections, The DNC and the Clintons seem very good at it based on the DNC hack. Ask Bernie he'll fill you in.

First of all, let me dispel a grave myth. I AM NOT A DEMOCRAT.

Second, can anyone on this thread defend a point without bringing up either the Clintons, Obama, liberals, or Democrats?

If the topic is Trump, stick to Trump. I'm mostly talking about KFC, and Santa Clause. Typical right wing hacks.

And you're right, people are tired of the Clintons. Bernie would have buried Clyde.

Just a few posts back, you said Trump was the worst president in your lifetime. So there you go comparing him to other past presidents. You also brought up Swift boaters, which is a relic from the Kerry campaign. You can't even be consistent yourself so fuck off dude. And stop trying to give people orders on how they write or what they write about. This isn't your forum.

The other obvious reason why you don't want us bringing up history and previous presidents is because you didn't start following politics until the bitch lost.

When discussing Trump who is President of our Federal Government, that subject includes both parties and past presidents. Especially former President Obama since Trump is focusing on changing or eliminating a lot of policies he enacted.

Those that voted for Trump, or showed him support after being elected, and increasingly starting to drop their support. He hasn't kept ANY of his major promises (to them). he hasn't brought back manufacturing or coal jobs. He has proven himself to be just as corrupt - or even more so - than any other career politician. His inexperience has been a liablility - not an asset. Finally, he has lied so often that if you support him, you are supporting a person who will lie about anything from the size of his baby hands to the size of his crowds

Why not stay on topic here by discussing Trump.

If you want to talk about Obama, and Clinton servers, do it in the Obama thread...where it would be on topic.

None of you can possibly do that. Why? Because Trump models the behavior and can't stop trying to use Obama and Clinton to distract the public from his investigations, probable indictments of his past and present staff, and his possible impeachment.

he's a loser, you all know it...so you would rather talk about anything else then draw attention to the loser in the white house.

Wrong. This is just the narrative that is spoon fed to the public by the media, Democrats, progressive liberals and the like. If someone has issues with how the "handouts" and social programs are operated, it is said that they don't want these programs at all. Which is BULLSHIT. What they want are programs that actually work. Meaning provide the recipient with a "hand up" not just a "hand out". "Hand outs" which is how most of our social programs operate keeping people in the place they are now. The programs don't provide a way for people to better themselves and become independent. That is the "status quo". Programs need to provide temporary support and help the person find employment, help them manage their money and help them to make decisions that will enrich their lives. Not keep them on cycle of poverty. In life, the choices one makes has consequences that society is NOT responsible for resolving. For example, if you can't support the children you already have, it's not the responsibility of society to give you the money when you have more children. Apparently somewhere along the line our society has lost the ability to understand accountability for one's actions.

Then you have the subject of who should be eligible for such programs and the fraud, waste and abuse that exists in them.

The most telling state in that graph is the 22% that *don't know* in this country. Today's youth know about technology, what the Kardashians are doing (Hollywood, and entertainment in general)not much else.

And how many times did Obama blame his predecessor for inheriting the recession? And how many times did you complain about him doing that? That's what I thought. If establishment democratic leadership is the solution to Trump, then you should be happy to discuss these past leaders. Seems you are embarrassed or something.

Demanding that people discuss politics but without any historical context is not a rule of logic. Everything you say is either hypocritical or just plain stupid.

Way to Spin things. You can refer to other political things, but it ends being a party war. I, or Monker mention something about TRUMP, and your first go to is, 'but Hillary...', or 'but Obama...'

All I'm saying...argue the facts.
