This used to exist, then it existed in cut up pieces and some parts went missing..

Here's the full video of the last time Dennis DeYoung played live with Styx;

Yep! This was about a month before they went on the BNW tour. I believe Dennis was already aware that he was being replaced and Chuck had obviously 'retired' due to his illness... I think Glen actually filled in for Chuck in the studio on BNW but nobody said anything... Dennis has alluded to it before in an interview.

I believe this marks 2 points in Styx history.

The last time Babe was ever played live (though apparently they might have played it at one of their Japan shows in 2000?) and the only time the lineup was Dennis/Tommy/JY/Glen/Todd

Yes, they played it one time in Japan at the promoter's request in 1999.

This is a really good show even though tensions were high. Todd has also said he could not hear the band in his monitors so he had to wing it and make the best of it. You would never know by watching.

I thought the recording of BNW was done in various studios...or, at least DDY's was separate from Tommy and JY. That is why the album sounds so disjointed, because they were never all in the same studio.

Also, interesting how Glen is in the background for most of this show. By the time "The Main Event" tour happened, he was in the spotlight just as much as anybody else...he was a highlight of the show. Not here, he just hangs around in the background and lets DDY, Tommy and JY have the spotlight.

Yeah, according to the BNW credits the album was recorded at 6 different studios and from what I recall, Dennis never joined JY and Tommy in California where most of the recording apparently happened.

List of studios from BNW (and other Styx albums);
Pumpkin Studios (Chicago - where Styx recorded most of their albums)
The Shop (California - BNW, Cyclorama, Regeneration I & II, Big Bang Theory, Tommy's The Great Divide)
The White Room (Chicago - I think this is Dennis' home studio, as it's listed in the GH CD credits)
Hinge Studios (Chicago - BNW)
Capitol Studios (California - BNW, Cyclorama)
Dr. Caw Recording (Chucago [Northbrook, IL] - BNW, Cyclorama and Regeneration I & II)
