Yeah, not sure he'll displace Pink Floyd or Zeppelin... tho Jason Isbell seems to be hot right now.

Also his album was trending pretty good on iTunes over the weekend.

Return to Paradise never charted over #100 and still sold 500,000 copies. I remember that the time it was the biggest album CMC International label ever released. How many total copies of the Mission were sold? 60,000? I'm sure whatever it is will be the max that the DDY album will sell.

Now it's gone from the Amazon rock chart. That was fast.

I'm not sure what the current numbers are for The Mission but would be interested to find out. Anyone know where we can get that info?

No idea, I have wondered that myself. RIAA tracks them and does have info on their website but they only list gold and platinum sales. I'd also, just out of curiousity, see some sales from Brave New World. I have searched online but can find nothing on either.
Monker wrote:Honestly, you shouldn't put much into Amazon charts. They are calculated hourly by some algorithm that nobody really understands. Look, this is a song from the #1 album on the rock MP3 chart...by a band called Alestorm....and no it is NOT Halestorm):

My God, it's like South Park meets Pirates of the Carribean. Too funny...but the #1 album? Really?

Sadly the exchange rate getting something from the US would be just as bad.
I'm still working luckily, but my wife isn't - she hasn't been working since the end of March, with the possibility of her return to work here in Alberta is June 19th. She was a busy massage therapist, and we're looking at between 10-12g in loss of wages over these past few months.
She does qualify for $2000 every month from the Government, but that doesn't even put a dent in our bills, mortgages, etc (We were able to defer our house mortgage, but since we also own a rental - too bad, so sad.. pay up oh, but you can't evict your tenants due to Covid, but you STILL have to pay your mortgage!)
Sorry to vent.. with everything going on it must be wearing me down - I can't even fully get into the new DDY songs - everything is just meh..
