Truimph/ Styx -YouTube Triumph Interview

Just finished watching Part 1 of a 5 or 6 part interview with the band Triumph. Each part is around 10 minutes long. In Part 1 they are interviewing all three members from back in the day. They are interviewing Rik Emmett, and in the background Mike Levine who plays both keyboard & guitar is sitting in the background with an unbuttoned jean jacket on. The jacket is open and hes wearing the original Styx Main Event T shirt under his jacket. It's got all the members faces individually a circle. The camera gets a great shot of John Panozzo on the T.

Hah, that's awesome

I really wish the guys would play again. They reunited in like 2008 in Sweden for one gig and back in November once again reunited for a invite-only event (I should have gone.. as it was open to fans)

They have apparently sat down and talked about some kind of tour a couple of times in the past decade but Mike is just chilling and "retired", Gil runs Metalworks Studios and Rik has his own solo projects and has been teaching songwriting and music business courses at a college since 2000. Apparently they also wanted to do shows the same as they used to (pyro, lights, etc) but it would have been far too costly to execute when they ran the numbers so that turned them away as well.

I got to see Rik play a couple of summers ago at a festival which was nice.... and I *think* I saw Gil outside after a concert in Toronto but totally spaced on his name so I didn't talk to him
