I really have not heard of them other than JY has some sort of tie to that band is that correct???? What is their best album?? Do they sound like Cheap Trick?? I could not name a single song of theirs. Are they still a group??

I seem to remember a song called Fly High Michelle by enuff znuff. Pretty catchy tune. I think a buddy of mine had the entire album, but I cannot remember what it's called . . . I was aware of them, but would never have guessed that they have 12 CDs out!

Is it my imagination or did the Legend Jy reluctantly appear on one of the Enuff Znuff albums?

No Scott, it's not your imagination. JY appeared on their 9th Album titled "PAPAPHERNALIA".

Here is an interview with Chip that mentions JY on the album. (There are a few other interviews with Chip regarding JY.) I'm going to post the link (instead of the whole interview) due to some of the language that may offend people.

If anyone gets a chance, you have to read some of these other interviews. Some of them are really funny especially how they feel about other bands. A lot of the questions have really bad language - just a warning.

I am pretty sure I saw them live in S. Florida a long time ago. The place was called the "Button South" I think. I could be totally wrong though!!

SpaceAce, I just received this email from one of my other boards. I don't know if you read this yet, but I thougth I'd share it with you:

ENUFF Z NUFF drummer Ricky Parent has been diagnosed with cancer –
full details -
"Ricky has asked that I share some information with you. As you all
know Ricky has been sick for the last 6-8 months. He has been in &
out of the Dr./hospitals getting test after test to determine what
was wrong. After hearing many doctors say the possible things it
could be, he has finally found out what it is. All though he
considers this a VERY personal matter, he considers the fans as part
of family. Most important he wants to stop all the rumors of what is
really wrong. He has conquered the drug problem which was a hard
battle. Now he has another, more serious battle to fight. Ricky has
been diagnosed with cancer. I know that this is an informal way to
announce this, but he wanted to let all the fans know the truth. I
will keep you updated on his progress in his treatment. Anyone who is
wanting to send notes of support are welcome to write to him at
RickyParent@enuffznuff.com.
