Here is some good news for you. Styx was originally suppose to play 3 nights at the Vic in "their" home town of Chicago. They're only playing one night and can't even sell that out. The Vic holds 1800 people. They're giving away tickets, not only in Chicago but other towns too to come to the Chicago show.
I know they give tickets away for a lot of artists, that's not the point.

That being said, I would not put this on Larry Gowan's shoulders. He's just the hired hand. I may not care much for his singing, but I don't blame him for the mess this band is in now.
It took some mighty big egos and a lot of short sightedness to bring this band to this point. But hey, to each his own.

I would love to see Damn Yankees reunite more than any other band that has ever existed.

Not saying they aren't entertaining, or that they didn't do what they thought was in their best interest, but I really do think they've worn out their circuit. They need to come off the road for awhile.

For me personally, all the touring has been nice because I haven't had to travel as far to see the band and I've been able to pick and choose the shows that fit into my schedule as opposed to rearranging my schedule to see a single show or two.
