Wow. I agree with reggie 100% on this one. I was watching the new DVD for the three thousandth time and I'm amazed at the amount of people in this venue. I saw them in April at BB Kings in NYC, and even though I liked the up close and personal aspect of it, I still think this band should be playing the Garden. You're right Reg, America needs to wake up. But it seems America maybe content in this disposable era of popular music. I'm glad Toto can perform in front of that many people in Europe. At least they can do it somewhere.

I was fortunate enough to see this show from a small "dinner theatre" venue. This was a "homecoming" show for the guys too. It was in Agoura,Ca. 20 minutes from where the gang grew up. I was in the front row dead center!!! Luke jumped on our table & did a solo. I had to move my drink in fear of Luke knocking it over!!! I guess we're lucky that there are only a small number of music fans that know what's going on. This enables us to see great, great bands in such intimate settings. That DVD is almost an exact duplicate of the set I saw.

They actually did two shows at BB King's that night. I saw the second. It was pretty much the same thing as the DVD except they didn't do Home Of The Brave. I wish the DVD had Luke's acoustic solo. That was one of the coolest things I ever saw/heard him do. But Luke almost kicked over your drink. How cool is that?

I think Luke was trying to pay me back for stealing his beer @ the Baked Potato in L.A. I was at the Baked Potato where Luke, Mike Landau & Doug Aldrich (Dio,Whitesnake) were playing. I set my Corona down on a counter & turned around a minute later & there were two Coronas' next to each other. I picked up the wrong one & started to drink it & it was Lukes'. He said you gonna drink my beer man? I said sorry I'll buy you another. He then took his shirt & cleaned off the neck of the beer inside & out!!!! Luke is ALWAYS a smartass & the life of EVERY party or gig!!!!! Yes I did buy him several beers that night!!!!!

Is the life of the party for sure...just got home after being in Atlanta. He had called Bobby to get him to come down and party on Thursday night...
Bobby wanted to rest, I wish I'd gone down there now, after hanging with these guys all day Friday and Friday night till like 5 this next morning...these dudes can party, I'm here to tell you...I don't know how they do it still...I'm fixin to turn 47 and didn't even drink and it wore me out! ha! Luke is quick witted also, we were checking out Saturday morning, in the lobby and there are these huge tall chairs and the webmaster for toto99. Steve is sitting in one, well I go to take pictures with Luke and Bobby, the boys slide in to get the shot...all of a sudden we hear this huge and I mean, huge crash...to my right Steve had fallen over in that chair, it was hilarious, he didn't miss a beat, Luke goes, I'm a lawyer....and started into his ramblings..he's a funny guy. As we were leaving the hotel bar the night before he would "bump" as in dance, with anyone within like five feet of him and as he was doing it, he was singing some cute little song...we've tried our da*nest to figure out what it was but we can't remember...too much fun, most fun I've had in years. Never laughed so hard at these stories and meeting the rest of them for the first time..I gotta tell you, these guys are a class act, bottom line...I'm not sure America really deserves these guys...they got to be the best kept secret in the music business, that's all I can say...why they aren't touring the US and blowing these other's off the stage is a mystery to me coz these cats have got it goin on....nobody can touch them, period.
