Dear Madame Official Spokesperson,

We'd like to know what other cities will be included on the tour, and what other bands will be touring with Dennis ? do you have any scoops you can share ? even regions he will appear in would be interesting to know.

There is a rumor going around that in response to this backlash to the Air Supply shows, Dennis is extending his tour. He is disapointed in the reaction and knows that he will now need to change his image. So, he and the band are going to have a complete makeover to emphasize his new hard rock image for these added shows. Dennis decided to drop the orchestra because a 'real' hard rock band does not have an orchestra to back them up. He also added a new touring partner to help reintroduce himself to his fans. Starting in January, the rock band GWAR will open for Dennis.

PLEASE, somebody WARN me before going to another site. I just checked out who GWAR was, holy crap Monker, that's just scary.

Classic, as official spokesperson, LOL I don't have anything new to report. They're working on a few more dates for Fall and then dates in the Winter and Spring, just like this year (I think). Milwaukee and Chicago will probably be in February. Madison is still a possibility, I hope. I wish I honestly knew the other cities, but I don't.

As for other bands and artists, they're might be a few more dates with Air Supply and Alan Parsons, the schedules are being worked out. I think Alan Parsons heads over to Europe after the Detroit show. There's an artist (a guy), that I like (musically), that is a possibility (working on the date/dates now). Once it's totally official, I'll come here second, after I post on one of the Dennis groups - LOL

I do know that:

No to Steve Walsh. Kansas tickets aren't selling that great with them alone. (I know it depends on the regions). Steve Walsh doesn't have that big of a following to see him. There is always the possibility that this could change if he went out on his own, who knows. But right now, no.

No to Lou Gramm. Sorry to say, but his ticket sales haven't been doing great. A couple of his shows were cancelled due to ticket sales. I've been trying to find out about his voice and only to find out that it's a hit or miss.

Maybe to Bryan Adams, only if he liked to perform with an orchestra. He has a new album, oops, cd out.

Maybe to Richard Marx, depending if he tours solo and the ticket sales. Not sure if he ever performed with an orchestra.

It all depends on if the artist or band would perform with an orchestra.

Dennis will be performing solo shows too, with an orchestra and some cities without.

I honestly wish that I knew more. I'm budgeting my concert fund for 2005

HEY NOW!

If Slipknot opened for DDY, I'd be ALL OVER that (note the album cover avatar).

I think they could share the stage during the encore for a version of Mr. Roboto (with slipknot being robotos) and then close out with a rousing acousting/piano rendition of People=Shit.

Slipknot could dedicate their song "Everything Ends" to Styx:

"You are wrong, fucked and overrated
I think I'm gonna be sick and it's your fault
this is the end of everything
you are the end of everything

I haven't slept since I woke up and found my whole life
was a lie motherfucker
this is the end of everything
you are the end of everything

Shallow skin, I can paint with pain
I mark the trails on my arms with your disdain
Everyday it's the same - I LOVE, YOU HATE
But I guess I don't care any more...
Fix my problems with the blade
While my eyes turn from blue to gray
God, the worst thing happened to me today
But I guess I don't care anymore... "

a few other slipknot songs that could apply to styx:

The Heretic Anthem
Left Behind
Prelude
Eyeless
The Blister Exists
Duality (I push my finger into my eyes)

BTW - on the slipknot note... they have a song on the new Resident Evil soundtrack and a really good melodic one called Vermilion. I'll be at that flick....

yes... I am a HUGE fan of Corey Taylor (lead singer/lyricist)... great outlet form some emotions.

Music is therapy in many ways. The many moods of shifting emotion is a perfect match for the variety of musical tastes I enjoy. I've got everything in my iTunes catalog from Barry Manillow and Air Supply to Slipknot and Marilyn Manson (and just about everything in between except for Country and Western which just isn't my cup of tea).

Much like love and lonliness, hate can be very therapeutic :-D

Slipknot are a God-awful Nu-Metal joke and must be extinguished. No doubt they hide behind those pitiful masks because they know they suck horribly.
I think Air Supply kick Slipknot's ass. Actually, I think they both know quite a bit about male butts.
