My question would go to Tommy, and would be.....do you ever just go through the motions on stage ?
personally I'd prefer it if he was not in Styx and returned to his awesoem solo recording career.

Now, as far as keyboard genius - if you haven't heard him solo, then you cannot comment at all.
Input by Gowan and Burtnik on Cyclorama was heavily controlled, that is NOT something to guage his talent by.
Now, go out and check out some solo material, then we can talk talent.

I tell you what... I will make you a deal.
You tell me what the best Gowan solo record is, and I'll go to Tower Records (or iTunes Music Store if they have it) and I'll buy it today, put it on my ipod and give it a week.
I actually thought Glen's contributions to Styx were pretty good - but not nearly as good as some of Glen's other work.
And what do you mean controlled? I thought that's what Tommy Shaw and James "Chewbacca" Young hated about having Dennis in the band! Do you mean to tell me that perhaps those two are now guilty of the same kind of "oppression" that they've been accusing Dennis of for the past 5 years? That sheds a whole new light on things.
His contribution to rock over the years is matched by few and his talent just as impressive.
