It's the end of the world as we know it,,or is it?

Having followed a band or 3 in my lifetime, there are not many bands that has stayed the same lineup since,,,ehh then.
I know it is harder for some ,than others to come to terms with that.
NOTHING EVER STAYS THE SAME.
Bands I still follow in spite of lineup changes and am still enjoying.
Styx,Deep Purple,Nazareth,Roxy Music,Genesis,Camel & Marillion.
Just because I can't have sex with my first girlfriend ever, does not mean I stay celibate.Maybe you do?
I have listenedto Cyclorama 5 times today and it is slowly sinking in.It's the new Styx and it is fine.
Come to think of it.If Gowan had not had his rotating keyboard and just a stationary one on the left side of the stage,he would probably be accused of copying Dennis.

Gr8,

I dunno about you, but my 1st will always have a special place in my Heart. ( sigh....) but you do have a point. Collins Lead Genesis, Hagar out front for Van Halen, and others have made some awesome music, after many thought those bands would die without the one that left.

I'm not ready to put Styx into that group just yet, Cyclorama is a good CD, but I need more before they've earned that right in my mind. I hope they do so, but I'm a skeptic, especially with the departure of Burtnik.

Time will tell.....

Van Halen is the best band without the original lead singer. SH kicks ass!! He's so frickin' cool. What a nice dude.

Yes Classic.
I will always have a soft spot for my first love. But I will always have a soft spot for my current one, as she will hopefully be the one I will stay with.(at least until Styx reunite)till the end of my days.
I will always have a soft spot for Equinox, but even when JC left I did not blow my top.

Styx and Journey, are my two favorite bands, and both groups are facing the same problem. The voice of the group, and one of the key writers are gone. Both groups have one full cd behind them of new material (Styx a few hits and a bunch of live cds, and Journey a mini cd and a cuple of hits cds.) They both need new marterial if any one other than hardcore fans, like me are to take them for more than a classic rock band riding on their on coat tails-ERIC
