SOME Styx fans may laugh.
Many Styx fans are laughing not some.
Some Styx fans laughed at Kilroy,
There were more Styx fans going to the shows than there were laughing.
and some think Dennis' solo career is laughable.
Not many if any.
Dennis never cared about a solo career anyway.
After all the years of your whining, complaining, insults, hate, and prophecies of doom, Styx are still out there..
Still out where Monker Ho Chunk Casino in Wisconsin Dells
Woopdi do da dey, They really have gone to the big time.
.touring, recording new music...and even getting on the radio.
And all along losing money not selling cds or tickets to the shows.
BTW Dennis is on TV tonight 11 pm ABC check it out.
Fact is if Dennis DeYoung was never part of Styx these 2 goofs would be broke and washing dishes, It was Dennis DeYoungs songs that made them a huge sucsess, Not James Youngs or Tommy Shaws
The 2 guitar players are just riding his coat tails.
JY should be the person laughing - at people like you who just don't understand that music is bigger then one persons opinion or even a small group of people's shared opinion.
Your right it was JY and Shaws opinion that Dennis was not right for Styx anymore quite a wrong opinion based on the lack of there sucsess.
So yea music is bigger than Shaws and JYs opinion.
The affects of your boycott are laughable.
Whats so funny the band is a revovling door
Even Burtnick wants nothing to do with them anymore
Go ahead laugh fact is Light UP a Styx cover band is more popular than JY and Shaw ,
Your attempt at getting 10,000 signitures on a petition to get Dennis back in Styx was laughable. The entire crusade to end the current band is laughable.
I did not start that petition first of all and second of all we could get 10000 sigs in a heartbeat all we need to do is have the petiition at 2 Dennis shows. That would be 10 easily.
Styx will continue as long as venues
Venues try 1000 seaters half full
book them for a tour. The fact that they can still book a tour doesn't seem to be changing anytime soon...despite your protests.

If anyone owns the DVD of Return to Paradise on the extra features, while waiting at an airport or somewhere, Tommy on acoustic and Dennis sing an empromtu version of Norweigen Wood, and whenever these two guys locked harmonies, like Lennon and McCartney it was a thing of beauty. By the way, i don't laugh whenever the reluctant one talks anymore, I cringe. All of you guys and ladies have a great Turkey Day!!!!!
styxfanNH wrote:No, On Styxworld, Tommy only changed the number of stations. If you weren't paying attention to detail on the site, it looked like the original post. It would be interesting though to see which markets are playing it.
Assuming all this is true, and I have no reason to believe it isn't, can you imagine what will happen when the video hits tv in the next couple of weeks.
styxfanNH wrote:Froy,
The Video is shot and in the editing process.
Who is going to play it ?
Another waste of money
And you will never hear it on the radio until you come out of your cave.
I would rather stay in my cave than hear Gowan 's mouth piece/
But in your own words earlier in this post "I heard the song on the loop FM chicago"
However, I draw the line seeing a band in an old corn field tripping over the stalks

I NEVER would of known that was Styx. GOWAN shines, and he sounds like John Lennon to me. It does justice to the orginial

ChicagoSTYX wrote:Froy can not stand the fact that Styx is having success without Dennis. He will say anything to try to detract from it. IATW is a bigger hit then anything Dennis has done with or without Styx in the last 13 years and that’s a fact Mr. Froy!
yogi wrote:Froy is right in the fact I would of had NO clue that was Styx if I had not called and requested the song,
How good can that be for a band calling itself Styx ?
When you heard Paradise in 96 did you ask yourself who was that
No way
There is no doubt that Dennis is the voice of Styx and he is respected in the music buisness as just that the voice of Styx.
Shaw and Young really must hate DeYoung to have an awefull singer like Gowan in his place.I would of thought it was some British guy doing a remake.
Which makes it even more of a joke.Froy, your problem is.... that you still have a hero and you are a 100% fanatic about him. Move on, your 30++++++ years old.
Funny thing Yogi my hero is John Lennon not Dennis DeYoung.
I fight for Dennis because he was railroaded by 2 guys he
made a life for.Dennis is the voice of Styx, that Gowan, Tommy, Glen or JY will never be.
With that said Yogi and by your words Todays Styx is not StyxWith that said I think its GREAT Styx has done soooooo much since 1999.
So much of what burning out the name of Styx they have hurt there legacy more than they helped it. Many thousands of former fans are just that former fans because of the greed of the 2 guitar players who killed there friend for a buck . There as low of lifes as you can get,I praise Cyclorama, and I Am The Walrus is an EXCELLENT remake,
And neither one comes close to music that was made when Dennis was in the band.that I hope brings Styx back to the forefront of rock music.
Using a Beatle song will bring them back to the forefront of muisc that is copycatting and is not the way you want a band to get back to the top of the muisc buisness Its the cheap way .Gowan has TREMENDOUS talant
