Any guesses on which song he's going to perform? I suppose it would have to be "Hello God" since he's plugging his cd. I guess that would be my guess.

Oh crud, I wish that I knew he was on Mancow. You could hear it live from the internet, bummer.

That is just awesome news, Suite! The guy is on a roll! Kimmell is a cool show for him to be on. It should be fun to watch.

And Mancow was also a feather in his cap. I believe the guy has some good ratings, no?

I saw the show, was a little dissapointed he didnt do any of his new stuff...
maybe ABC didnt want any reference to God on their show ( ? )

I think he should have done a duet with the sponge bob guy!

The chick in the house band doing harmonies gave me a real appreciation for Dawn Marie.... she was a bit distracting to me , vocally.

good exposure for the CD though, cant hurt to have a couple hundreed thousand late night viewers see that.

Will the ( current ) band care that Jimmy kept referring to Dennis as being "of/from Styx" ?

Liked Jimmy's comment "those guys must really miss you ! " To be able to hear DDY's thoughts at that moment would have been priceless !

Classic,

I agree, it was nice to see Dennis live. I thought he did a really good job. I was wondering similar things about the use of the Styx name when they announced him as being from Styx. And the comment at the end seemed more ironic than anything. I also would have loved to hear what Dennis was thinking when he heard Jimmy say that. Good Job for Dennis, he looked good and sounded great. And the antics with the guy from Sponge bob was a riot, especialy the 30 second Sponge Bob Medley.

I thought he did a stellar job myself. Sounded in great voice and he did look very good.

I like how you could see everyone sort of go "oh WOW, listen to how GOOD he sounds." Jimmy kept saying that over and over.

Dennis also seemed to totally win over the audience to where, when the last intros for each guest were given, he got the wildest, loudest applause.

His Come Sail Away rocked the house. Looks like Jimmy's band really got into and and enjoyed themselves very much.

I hope this translates into some more appearances for him and a bit of name recognition for Dennis DeYoung. I am sure JK was just trying to let folks know who this guy was with his references to Styx.

His last comment was "The guys in Styx must miss the HELL out of YOU. " I too would have loved to have heard Dennis' reaction to that and wish he could have done a bit of Q & A with Mr. Kimmel.

Dennis is a class act all the way and he is the lead singer of Styx always was always will be. Just becuase we have 2 former members running around using the Styx name does not mean that the band Styx as we all know it egsists Only a few followers let it be.

I didn't catch that LOL! Need to check it out again.

I do wish we could have heard from Dennis. You could see how badlly he wanted to chime in when the Sponge Bob guy did the Styx songs.
I have heard Dennis do a dead-on Cartman. That might have been fun.

That's cuz he didn't say Thanks uncle Jimmy. He just sort of suppressed a smirk. I thought he was great, that they didn't have a lot of time to rehearse, and like someone else said...it made me really appreciate Dawn Marie. The back up singer left much to be desired.

I have been duly chastized for not remembering what I saw!

Other than the beginning of the show, I don't think Dennis got a word in edgewise. I need to watch this thing again, LOL!

Yeah. I wondered if he was going to spin that board around a few times and give all of us a "show." But, no, he just played them --- live.

He let his voice be the show.
