OT - Nightclub Killings

Postby Ash » Thu Dec 09, 2004 10:47 pm

Apparently, according to preliminary reports - two members of the band "Damage Plan" were killed when a gunman rushed the stage and shot Dimebag Darrell and one other member of the band. Five total people are dead.

I hope this report is wrong. Dimebag is a heavy metal pioneer.

Looks like we're soon going to get Ashcroft-level pat-downs going to nightclubs now too. Why do people have to do shit like this.

Sorry Ash it's true. I just read it on the Yahoo news.

It's scary to go out and have a good time. You never know who's having a bad day or problems.

Today's society is getting worse, very sad.

It has been reported today in the Houston Chronicle, and also on Fox News that the shooter was a huge Pantera fan and was very very upset about the breakup of the band. 'Unless he left a note no one will know for sure his exact motives for doing this horrendous act.' He used to listen to Pantera all of the time before his high school football games as a way of preparing himself was also reported.

There sure are some crazy ass 'fans' out there huh Froy!!!!!!!!!

A fan who was there is claiming that they heard the killer shouting about how he f'n broke up Pantera and a bunch of crap. Smart move ahole, now they will never reunite.

thing is.... The former lead singer of pantera recently gave an interview and made a statement to the effect that someone should "take care of" dimebag or "mess him up" or something to that affect. This has happened in the last month.

This would be akin to JY saying in an interview that he wished someone would beat up DDY and then a rabid carot styx fan DOING it.

Really ? I wonder how he feels about making those comments now that this has happened ? Has he made any statements ? If not, what an a-hole he is !
