I just ordered my tickets yesterday for Motley Crue with a VH1 Pre-order. I never seen Motley Crue in concert, I'm actually looking forward to seeing them in March. I have to practice my headbanging - LOL

You might have something there, but I think Gowan sounds more like Freddy Mercury than Vince Neil.

Nope. You both got it wrong. Gowan's true inspiration for the way he sings is found in the "Wizard of Oz." Scene 58: The Munchkins sing.

Vince is so much more rock and roll than Lawrence, sounds better than him, and could kick his A$$.

You know, I was never much of a fan of Vince in terms of vocal prowess, but his voice is an absolutely perfect fit for the Motley Crue sound (kind of like Udo with Accept)!

Yes ek, Vince fits what Motley is. Very well said. Lawrence doesn't fit what I know Styx as, but maybe he fits to what Styx is becoming, or has already become.

Darren,
You'll have a good time. It's a great show that highlights the harder side of Styx.

Styx In UK

Postby snhmg12 » Fri Dec 17, 2004 10:17 am

Having read the posts above and on other sites I was really hoping that Kansas were going to tour the UK as support to Styx.

I already have my ticket for Glasgow Clyde Auditorium and although getting a chance to see Styx in my hometown (having previously seen them in the US) was something to really look forward to and Kansas as support would have been the icing on the cake.

Reading the Kansas official site they have just posted dates for the Kansas European Tour 2005 none of which tie in with Styx dates and indeed they have dates elsewhere. (Dates listed below)

Europe - June 2005
Date Day City State Venue
6/7/04 Tue Berlin Germany Columbiahalle
6/8/04 Wed Hamburg Germany Stadtpark
6/10/04 Fri Solvesborg Sweden Sweden Rock Festival
6/11/04 Sat Lichtenvoorde Holland Arrow Classic Rock Festival
6/12/04 Sun London England Empire
6/14/04 Tue Tenerife Spain Auditorium
6/15/04 Wed Tenerife Spain Auditorium
6/17/04 Fri Madrid Spain Macumba
6/18/04 Sat Granada Spain Lago de la Ermita
6/19/04 Sun Barcelona Spain Razzmatazz
6/21/04 Tue Zurich Switzerland Z7
6/23/04 Thu Frankfurt Germany Jarhundterhalle
6/24/04 Fri Bonn Germany Museumsplatz
6/25/04 Sat Stuttgart Germany Killesberg
6/26/04 Sun Munich Germany Tollwood Festival
6/28/04 Tue Milan Italy Mazda Palace
6/29/04 Wed Paris France La Cigale

There is however a London date on 12 June.

Maybe next year!!!

Maybe he would too...

...but, since you don't know the answer to the question he asked, I guess sarcasm will have to do.

you make the mistake of assuming I care about the answer to his question. making insults wrapped in questions deserves sarcasm.

More of a metaphor. He implies DDY is Manilow-esque with his "name" - and I make a similar comparison as to what I think of Mr. Lawrence. My attempt again at the passive agressive.
