I guess if you don't know what post it dammit means then you need to go back to the 3rd grade . Wait a second your only in 2nd grade right now
That explains it,

And for the record, I think it's completely possible for JY to admire DeYoung's talent while resenting him enough to choose to not go on working with him.

And for the record if it were not for Dennis DeYoung James Young would be working at Wendy's right now , He's just a guitar player and a budget one at that .

I believe Steve Perry was a talented artist. That doesn't mean I'd wanna put up with his ego.

Steve Perry would not even want to be in the same room with you so don't worry about putting up with anything.

Yikes froy.
Does somebody stick their smelly feet in your breakfast every morning,or don't you ever get what you want for Christmas.
You sure like to pummel.
Every time somebody has something to say ,you do not like, they are crackheads, coke addicts, goes in 2nd grade or drink too much.
Are you Dennis' hairdresser or something?
All the best

How many copies of the covers album coming out will have to sell to make it a success in your eyes?

Why don't you answer your own question first then I will respond,

Honestly, I could care less how much an album sells. BUt you are the one who keeps throwing out the supposed sales figures like they matter. Success in my mind is not quantified by slaes number, but instead the enjoyment I get from the music. If I am happy with the music, them it was a success to me.

Well said!

Exactly. To be influenced by the numbers sold suggests that one is more concerned with what everybody thinks or what is popular than the quality of the music. To each his or her own, but I'd just as soon not be quite so shallow.
