Facts Respectfully Submited to Froy

My theory is that Froy could be Carrie Ann.

In any case, 90% of what Froy posts makes me nauseous. For instance…

FROY: Styx was not seen as having 3 lead singers.
Dennis was seen as the leader and Voice of Styx

ADAM: That is blatantly wrong. If that were the case, Renegade would’ve been a fluke, Blue Collar Man would’ve been a coincidence, Fooling Yourself would’ve been an accident and Too Much Time On My Hands would’ve never even been released. What Froy refuses to accept is that there are perceptions in the world other than his.

FROY: The bottom line is a band is a band and if the founder of the band is not in the band then the band is not the band.

ADAM: So Free As A Bird wasn’t the Beatles, according to Froy.

Another thing - to rehash the ridiculous – the initial basement was the Panozzo’s, and the trio was some OTHER guy on accordion (Tom Something?). DeYoung joined the Panozzo brothers' band. And so by Froy’s way of thinking, the moment John Panozzo died the band ceased to exist.

FROY: If Steve Perry asked to come back to JRNY right now he should be let back in. If Dennis asked to come back to Styx he should be back in also

ADAM: Says Froy. I say people shouldn’t be forced to work with others who are manipulative and egomaniacal, no matter how large the list of jealous, aging fans. (A list, which is, by the way, diminishing.) In fact, I think people should live their lives as happily as possible, and avoid working with goofballs at all costs.

FROY: Who said we want Dennis back with JY

ADAM: And now we see Froy wants JY out of the band. So let’s get this straight…
Dennis + JY + Chuck + John + Glen = Unacceptable
Tommy + JY + Chuck + Todd + Glen + Gowan = Unacceptable
Tommy + JY + Chuck + Todd + Gowan + Ricky = Unacceptable
Dennis + Tommy + JY + Chuck + Todd = Acceptable
Dennis + Tommy + Chuck + Todd (No JY) = Acceptable
So, since Chuck does sporadic touring, if Dennis and Tommy toured with Todd, perhaps Froy would shut up.

(If firing JY satisfied Froy, it’d be inconsistent with his argument about firing versus quitting.)

And who needs Froy’s interpretation of what Styx is?

I guess you never learned what withdrawn means

Froy is not wrong Monker never gives up even when he proves himself wrong Dropped and withdrawn are the same things

Will you just give it up? You said, "Dennis did not settle he dropped the case. If he would have gone on he would have won"

You are absolutely WRONG. HE *DID* settle, signing an agreement that allowed Styx to continue on.. That is what happened. It is a provable FACT, a matter of public record...which I posted here.

*DENNIS* obviously did not feel he would have won the case or he would have allowed the summary judgement to go thru and kept the Styx name all for himself.

Get over yourself already. Not even Suite is arguing this any longer.

I suspect that Dennis was dragging it out and JY forced a judgement and at that time, both sides finally came to an agreement (reluctantly of course), typical courtroom behind closed doors antics.

what do you mean "JY forced a judgement?" Dennis sued all of Styx, including Chuck.

Thats a nice story but Styx was not seen as having 3 lead singers.
Dennis was seen as the leader and Voice of Styx

You have got to be joking. Styx only had one lead singer and voice? What planet are you living on?

By what you are saying if Shaw left right now Styx would continue with JY as the lead singer.

No, they would hire somebody else to take his place. maybe Burtnik would come back for a year or so, who knows?

The bottom line is a band is a band and if the founder of the band is not in the band then the band is not the band.

COFOUNDER.

If Steve Perry asked to come back to JRNY right now he should be let back in.

Yeah, right....like that's gonna happen.

If Dennis asked to come back to Styx he should be back in also

It's not up to you to accept his request.

Did ya forget about Burtnick thats 4 singers I guess you dont count him in the band,
Fact is they have other singers but there certainly not all equal and they don't just get the title Lead singer in the band becuase they sing a few songs Was Ringo the Lead singer of the Beatles. He sang a few

What's blatantly wrong is your constant effort to not use quotes
Fact is Styx has had 5 members sing in there hayday that does not make them the lead singer of the band
Dennis sang the most songs in the band and when he was there he was the lead singer and the voice of Styx, Right now Shaw is the lead singer in this failing lineup. Did ya forget about Burtnick JY and Curleski they all sang a song or 2 .

FROY: The bottom line is a band is a band and if the founder of the band is not in the band then the band is not the band.

ADAM: So Free As A Bird wasn’t the Beatles, according to Froy.

Why would you say that the lead singers voice was right there.

Sorry the rest of your babble is not worth the effort,

don't take things so literally, just above that I said JY and Co. I meant all three remaining members and they all settled ... out of court.

Of course I do. When he took over Tommy's spot for Edge, he took over his voice. But, Styx was always known for having three lead singers. It is simply ignorant to say they weren't.

The only exception is Cyclorama. And, as you will point out, they were not very well "known" for Cyclorama, were they?

Fact is they have other singers but there certainly not all equal and they don't just get the title Lead singer in the band becuase they sing a few songs Was Ringo the Lead singer of the Beatles. He sang a few

Of course Ringo wasn't the lead singer of the Beatles. What you are saying about Styx is about as dim as saying John Lennon was the lead singer of the Beatles when it is completely obvious to anybody with half a brain (the thinking side, of course) that Paul was also a lead singer.

Anyone checked the Rush fans response to them doing a covers cd? They all were looking forward to it! Check it out if you do not believe me. Not a bad thing said before it's release. -ERIC

Ime just glad they are playing the UK something DDY prevented them doing for 23 years.........at least the band are now not dictated as to where they play by the keyboard players wife......what ever Suzanne wanted Suzanne got.......just because she hated being away from home for long periods hence the band had to stay within a few hours of Chicago.
Why do you think Styx never played Europe and Japan between 1981 and 2000 ?

Answer Dennis DeYoung and his wife....there can be no other reason as light sensitivity ws not invented back then.
Lets see if DDY cares about Styx fans in Europe and Japan we can tell how much he cares when he announces his European dates.......anyone know the European dates of his tour yet ????? as i like others want to purchase a ticket....as soon as anybody knows them please post them especially the London show.....WOW...just heard Dennis,s European tour dates they are listed below...........
