I got to work late this morning because 93.7 The Arrow in Houston was having a tribute to Dennis in honor of his birthday.

They replayed an interview they did with him a few years ago right before his concert at The Woodlands. The morning guys Dean & Rog both said it might be their favorite phone interview of all time. Dennis was in rare form. He sung Lady & Come Sail Away over the phone, and they sounded awesome.

He then ripped VH1& JY pretty good for the misinformation presented on the Behind The Music piece, and for JY not really believing about his light sensitivity syndrome. He talked about NEVER ever wearing sunglasses, and now he owns 18 pair. It REALLY was a GREAT interview. Very candid interview. The tribute overall lasted about 30 minutes( 2 full segments).

He did have to mention the bong water again. At any rate Happy Birthday Dennis, he is a class act!!

I almost forgot in the interview Dennis talked about back in the early 90's ( Edge tour ) how after one show near Chicago he went out with some friends and got REALLY REALLY blasted. He said he was soo drunk he blew Chunks all night. That story made me think of Froy, his dog, and his friendship with Dennis. Its now becoming soo much clearer. Ol' Chunks must of just been a pup back then.

Smile, I'm only kidding. Be happy, its Dennis's birthday! Have a GREAT weekend!! Zan, your line was a CLASSIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
