Dennis's set list/Styx songs

Postby styxfanNH » Sun Mar 20, 2005 6:42 am

Is there any song that Styx made that Dennis was not the lead singer on that Dennis would add into his set?

Only if it is a song he either wrote or co-wrote. Lords of the Ring comes to mind. Beyond that, no. He makes it very clear that he performs only the material he wrote/co-wrote.

The only exceptions I've seen to this were when he used to include the Gershwin songs in his set list back in 2000 to 2003.

No. Dennis sang that one. He co-wrote it with JY.

Actually, they both sing part of the lead on Best Thing...

Dennis sings the Lyrics " Your Love would seem to be the Best thing....." at the beginning and near the end of the song, and JY handles the rest.

  So I guess we're all right. Obviously, JY's portion didn't stick with me much. My bad. Sorry.
