There were several " World Series of Rock" Concerts at County Stadium
in the 80's.......I have a stub from the one on September 6th, 1981, in which REO was the Headliner. Unfortunately, the stub doesnt list the other acts, and I have forgotten who they were.....

I think April Wine and the Michael Stanley band were 2 of them, but cant say that for certain.

First time I saw Styx was 81 up in the Chicago area. My uncle took me when I was up there on vacation with my family. It was my first ever concert. Too made I was sick, and had to leave early.
Saw them in 83 on Kilroy Tour. Great show, even thou it was panned by the people in the music industry.
Plus I have seen them every time they have been around,91, 96,97,99 (twice),00,01,02,04. Missed 03 because of death in family. All good shows. Saw Damn Yankees on each tour. Thay sucked on Don't Thread! Saw Tommy (as an opening act) a couple times by his self.
I am waiting to see DDY, if he ever comes this way-ERIC
